I carry a Glock 27 in a $30 Don Humme I picked up at the gun show. I have tried much more expensive holsters that were not as comfortable. I have heard so much about the Crossbreed Supertuck I might just have to give it a try sometime.

That was the club rule. Charlie's rule is just make sure every round stays on your backerboard. He doesn't want any rounds over the berm.

I think everyone should be allowed to carry if they take a class and carry a card in their wallet saying they passed the test. Sound familiar? I have seen many boneheads at the range and even my own family that simply don't know the safety rules until I tell them. If everyone over 16 could drive without a license we would have many more wrecks on the streets. While I think the CCW class is lame at best, it does give basic information that every gun owner, much less CCW, should know. Maybe the compromise is the state does not get involved. You take the class and leave with a card in your wallet from XYZ training academy that says you are "certified." This is how the impact weapon cert is handled.

I think the bigger problem is a BG getting my firearm collection that was not in a safe and using it against some other unarmed citizen. While the above scenario would suck, I'm glad I have my safe.

I carry a Glock 27 and with small kids in the house it goes in the top of the closet when I go to bed. The Glock 22 with laser/ light is in the Gun Vault safe in the night stand. I would be fine with the 27 at night if it had a rail.

I used to meet some buddies up there awhile back. Good range and good people.

I work for a major utility company and they have GPS on the vehicles. I have never signed anything regarding them knowing where I am. I'm just not too concerned about it. I am where they think I am and all is well. I would have a big problem if they put anything on my personal cell though.

I don't really see a senario where the cops have weapons drawn before I can gently put my Glock on the ground. I would do whatever I thought would make the officer the most comfortable.....without inserting into any part of my body, of course.

I have a 10 gun safe from Sentry. I bought it at Dick's Sporting Goods for around $300. I see they are up to over $400 now. Quality seems ok for a cheap safe. It's starting to get crowded and I might just have to add one to next years Christmas list.

There is no advantage for a trained person with a modern firearm and a quality holster to carry without one in the pipe.
