  1. I'll be there Saturday.
  2. I have an Eotech and had an Acog. I sold the Acog because it was high on the cool factor, but it's just a 4x scope. I can buy a less cool looking 4x optic for much less. I also think zero magnification is more handy if you just have one optic. Now that I have a second AR I'm looking at 4x options.
  3. P95 was the gun my girlfriend bought me for my 21st B-day. Yes, I married her. Great shooter and one of the few I regret selling over the years. Sold it to buy my first Glock. Luckily it was friend that promises to offer it to me if he ever gets rid of it.
  4. Never heard an attorney's view on the matter. Thanks for adding that, kind of what I had always thought, but now it's been confirmed. How often would a prosecutor have a weapon tested for modifications? Is it rare or SOP?
  5. I have had an Advanced Tactical Pistol class and took a free class put on by the Williamson County Sherrif teaching Laws related to shootings in and out of the home. The DA came to talk and answer questions one day. I also compete in pistol matches to get better for real world situations. I don't think a jury would hold any training against you. A civil attorney may try to say you "trained to kill", but that should not stop you from training.
  6. I have been considering one for playing around with. Not much of a hunter though.
  7. You could find another Glock in the $400 range if you have plenty of time to look for the right deal.
  8. Add me to the range list.
  9. I didn't have AMC last season, so I downloaded the shows. Can't wait for the next season. I upgraded my Dish package to include AMC.
  10. I got a G27 for $476 OTD using the GSSF program. Any PD disributor should be able to sell you the GSSF gun.
  11. But you have to be 21 to buy handgun ammo at Walmart right?
  12. Only one way to find out....... I think most of that is urban legend and from movies.
  13. ATF Online - Firearms - Frequently Asked Questions - Unlicensed Persons
  14. I always carry on every person to person transaction. Even a $15 Craigs List deal. Good idea to see a driver's license, but not required. You don't commit a crime unless you knowingly sell to an out of state resident or felon.
  15. Looks good. Maybe I will make it to more than one match in 2011. What's Run & Gun? Google didn't help me.
  16. Has anyone been charged in violation of a gun buster sign yet?
  17. I have two in my bob. I have thought of using them as an alarm if need be. You can tie a party popper or other string firecracker to it if it's triggered by a two legged critter. I found some metal ones at Co-Op that look like they would last forever.
  18. I have a GP100 and love it. Good choice.
  19. Fun match. I was the guy with the camo hat and PMag that kept falling out.
  20. Are you the tiny hand guy from that Burger King ad? Glad to hear it ran flawless.
  21. I was planning a trip with a buddy at 1:45. I'll try to make it a little earlier.
  22. Probably easier to just get an iphone.
