  8. with bigger bullets i use reloader 15 69 and up .but i still like an ar 15 with 55 grain bullets and a 1/12 twist barrel for me it seems to work best for hunting and at ranges of 200 or less yards
  9. the folks i deal with tell me that the aac brass is made at lake city and used for special ops .i dont know but i have some that i have loaded over 5 times and its still good it weighs the same as lake city .some of the brass i get from lake city plant in the last year or so has a speer headstamp .in the past couple of years i have sold lots of aac head stamped brass and had only 1 complaint and that was because the buyer didnt neck size before he loaded it other than that i havnt hearsd anything else about it and i have had several millon rounds of it
  10. only if you use an aftermarket barrel likr a lonewolf altho in my 1911 style 10mm i use fully supported barrels as well
  11. i guess i am odd i onlt use lake city or aac which is the same as lake city .i like it because its heavier brass and last longer
  12. i have both a giraud and a gracey i am hard pressed to pick the best of the 2. for low volume trimming i use a drill press and a lyman drill press trimmer i dont think they make it anymore. nothing beats a giraud or a gracey oh by the way dillon make one too but dont waste your money too hard to adjust
  13. enough for several of us to shoot i think its crazy to pay someone to shoot their machine gun
  14. why not get a bunch of tgoers to share their class 3 stuff with other tgoiers that might not have shot one .i have several and i am willing to do that just bring factory ammo
  15. i have a 10 mm got it from olympic arms they also make 40 s&w uppers mags are not that great .i made an upper in 7.62 x 25 its great look at making one ammo is cheap and it shoots great can even load it subsonic and cycle the action
  16. the tn state musem downtown is great. monells in germantown is a great place to eat if you like country cooking .the melting pot is a pretty good place for dinner as is mortons dont waste your time at ruths christ in nashville
  17. thats right but in todays world of lawsuits thats not a bad idea.most of the dealers will do that for you for a few bucks . i think bloomburg scared goodman a little could be worse though as i understand it some gunshow promotors are now requiring anyone that has a table with guns on it to have an ffl
  18. i use a max charge of aa9 and a 200 grain bullet cast of linotype
  19. make one with a small drill press or get a gracey
  20. I have been looking at LaPate from Maine he looks real good to me but will he run
  21. 5000 cast lead bullets 250.00 5000 small pistol primers 100.00 2 pounds tite group 40.00 1 hour with the camdex 5000 rounds of 9mm for 390.00
  22. best place in knoxville is tgt ammo he sets up at gunshows in knoxville
  23. i use an 8mm mould and just size it down or i use a 7.7 jap mould or 303 b and bump it up btw i just bought a master caster the one with the pull handel on the side 1000 45 230 in less than 1 hour
  24. i buy primed 22 lr cases or i used to any way i have several thousand i think there were 7000 in a case load my own just have to be careful about bullets as some 22 lrs are 221 dia. can still get them from williams shooters supply in il.i have loaded as high as 80 grains to run through a can
  25. i use 75 grain with a 1/12 twist you should see the wound channel not very good for target shooting but great for across the yard.the 223/5.56 to be a great combat round should have a 1/12 twist so that when the bullet hits something it will become very unstable
