Yea I've been looking at the conversions on the Saiga forums and they make everything seem real confusing. I really like the hogue grips, magpul stock and maybe the Magpul AFG in Coyote Brown?

Carried a G27 in a Crossbreed for a year and now I carry my M&P .45C in a Crossbreed also! Only holster I would ever buy!!!

They said he's been dead for 4-5 days while they've been DNA confirming it. Wonder if anybody will be able to claim the $25million reward!

The jakes came in at 6am yesterday with a gobbler. The gobbler wouldn't come into the decoys. We passed on the jakes and then they came back at about 10 so we took them.

Filters will definitely make your exhaust note a little louder. You might also get the "turbo" sound from the air sucking in. As far as being less maintenance, I think they are more maintenance bc you have to wash and oil them? I would definitely recommend them though!!!

Me and my uncle got in the blind at about 6am this morning. He called for about 30min and then we started to hear a gobble. My uncle was able to call him into about 75yds from my blind but there was just something that the turkey didn't like.( he was a very old bird) He turned and started off into the woods, so we gave him about 15 min and then started our pursuit. We worked our way in front of him and set up in the woods to get him when he came off the ridge. We heard him working the too of the ridge and decided to move spots again. We ended up trying to get ahead of him for about 5 miles all together. At our last spot in the woods my uncle talked to him for a good hour but we just couldn't get him to come into sight. We finally decided to go back to the blind and rest for awhile. While we were sitting in the blind my uncle called his boss back and was checking into work when a hen appeared out of nowhere and was talking to our decoys about 20yds in front of the blind. We looked over to the left and saw three big old gobblers in pursuit, so we just sat back and waited on them to come in. She called them right in to our decoys and one gobbler ducked into the woods and right before the second one disappeared into the woods my uncle gave a quick call and he stopped and put his head up and KABOOOOOM! I got my first turkey!!! I took him into the taxidermist and he weighed in at 22lbs, 1 1/2" spurs and an 11" beard.

Did not hear one bird all day! I watched one for about 2hrs, but he didn't seem interested in my decoys.

Was finally able to get out to the blind today! (writing this from the blind) Saw one on the hills as I was coming up the driveway(about 400yds from where I am). My blind: My decoys(20 ft in front): Me patiently waiting: Hopefully I be posting up a picture of a big Thunder Chicken tonight!!!

Wanting to carry my gun with me everywhere I go has helped me to give up alcohol!

I'm no expert. I believe that as long as you are not enrolled in any school anywhere, you are able to leave your gun in your car. I believe this is for parents who carry and have to drop off or pick up their kids from school. Somebody else can probably put it in more legal and defining terms.

Dogs are going crazy right now! I can hear the yotes going crazy in the back right now where the cows are so I'm about to go check on them. It seems like the yotes around here only come out from 7pm on!? I've tried calling them and didn't see any out when I was deer hunting this season.

This would've been a lot of fun! I will be out all this next week on the farm taking care of some yotes, they have become a real problem. They have gotten a cow, and we found a dog with a collar on it eaten up in the field earlier this week. They have also gotten a lot more rowdy a night. I would say we have about 30+ in an area of about 40 acres. I can even hear the puppies going crazy at night (it's really kinda creepy if you've never heard it before)

Worst gun show I've been to. Makes me not want to waste my time trying to go to anymore.

Can shoot them during normal hunting hours, year round, no bag limit. You may shoot them at anytime that they are causing harm or damage to you, dogs, or your livestock. They are becoming a very serious problem around my farm and I hunt them 24/7 for that reason!!!
