  1. He has had the gun for ten years. The accident happened in Oct 2009. Here is the story from the shooter.
  2. Sorry to hear about your problem. It does seem like Kahr's quality control has been slipping as of late. I hope they get it fixed for you.
  3. You are correct that 7.5 is to small for turkey. Twra say you can only use 4, 5 or 6 size shot. I had a 20 ga but could use 3". PAttern the 6's you have and hopefully they will pattern well for you.
  4. That reminds me of the old joke..Why don't blind people skydive? It scares the crap out of their seeing eye dog!

  9. Here is a 8 pt that I got on opening day of gun of the 08 season. It was 11 degrees that morning and he came in following a doe. Shot him at about 50 yards. Here is my daughters first deer from a couple of years ago. Here is a bobcat I got while deer huting.

    Bobcat!

Nice Bobcat! Here is mine from a couple of years ago.
  11. Sorry Greg but you are just flat out wrong. See what you do is trade your 642 for a dozen Tauruses. Then you sell the dozen Tauruses real cheap, lets say $200 ea., so they move fast. Then you buy back your 642 and still have 2 grand in your pocket to buy more S&W's.
  12. The .40 cal only applies only to muzzleloaders as I read it. A lot of deer have been and are taken with .357 mags. The rules say any centerfire ammo is legal in rifles. It makes no mention of hunting with centerfire hanguns. Under Illegal equipment it says this: Rifles or handguns loaded with center- fire ammunition are prohibited during all deer, bear or boar seasons for hunting any wildlife except deer, bear, or boar. This tells me that it is legal to hunt deer with any centerfire handgun with a 4" barrel. I always carry a 1911 with me deer hunting. I have taken several does with a .45 1911 and a Ruger SBH Hunter in .44 mag.
  13. Nice shot!

  15. JG55, I work in Brentwood and would be glad to take a look at it if you would like. Another set of eyes could not hurt before you have to send back.
