  1. I really appreciate all the sentiments and concern everybody has shown. This site really is a great community.
  2. To say she is liberal is an understatement. She is however a lovely person and one of the smartest people I have met.
  3. I am not sure if there is anyway to really prove who is at fault. No video. I am sure he will say he was on the shoulder. The only thing for sure is that she hit him. We are waiting on the police report and will go from there.
  4. 2012 Honda Civic. The worst part is that she had just picked it up Friday after having $2200 hundred dollars worth of work done to it.
  5. Pauls sister, Abby, still practices law here in Nashville. Her step daughter and my daughter went to school together. She spent the weekend over at their house one weekend. She came home with a big grin and said guess who I got to hang out with this weekend. Paul had come home to visit his sister. I was so irritated that she got to hang out with Pee Wee and I didn't. lol
  6. https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/pee-wee-herman-actor-paul-reubens-reported-dead-at-70 I grew up watching him. Still love the movie Pee Wee's Big Adventure.
  7. Almost lost my daughter this morning. She left early this morning to head to a friends house in Cookeville. In between exits 238 and 239 on I 40 there was a Ford super duty with an empty 35' car hauler on the side of the road. The lights on the trailer were not working and the rear corner of the trailer was on the white line. She was planning on getting off at exit 239 and getting a drink at the truck stop. She had cruise control set and never saw the trailer. She clipped it at 72 mph. It peeled open the side of the car and sent her spinning and she ended up in the ditch in front of the truck. She was really lucky to not have any serious injuries. The worst injury is what the seat belt did to her chest and neck. She has a seatbelt shaped abrasion and bruise from her neck to her ribs. Her right arm and leg look like they have had 100's of shots from all the glass that she got pelted with from the window exploding. She really did get lucky. No broken bones or lacerations. Just 100's of scratches and the nasty seatbelt injury. Technology is pretty cool. iPhones can detect crashes ands will call 911 if you do not respond to the alarms going off on your phone. As she was getting her senses back she kept hearing an alarm and then finally a woman's voice saying Hello, Hello can you hear me, Is anybody there. She was able to find her phone and the dispatcher got police and ems on the way. They were there within a couple of minutes. Another thing the iPhone does is if it is in a crash and calls 911 it will send a message to any contact that is listed as ICE - In Case of Emergency. I got up a little after 4am this morning to use the bathroom. I glanced at my phone and saw this text from Apple "Crash Detected SOS Caitlin Tallent called emergency services from this approximate location after iPhone detected a crash. You’re receiving this message because Caitlin has listed you as an emergency contact." Then it also sent a map with a pin showing the exact location of the crash. She was confused why I was texting her asking if she was ok even before she had talked to the cops. That is a pretty cool feature. Now for the pics of the aftermath:
  8. Still in the process of selling off guns I am never going to use or hunt with. This Winchester 94AE lever gun is gorgeous. It was a 1997 banquet gun for Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. I am pretty sure I have the box as well. $1800
  9. He was as nice in person as he seemed in TV. We built some software for him 20 or so years ago and really enjoyed working with him.
  10. Another gun I just do not shoot anymore. This is a very nice, accurate MK III. The Volquartsen Pistol Competition kit was installed by the original owner. All of the original parts are included. This is what Voquartsen says about the kit: This kit includes our Accurizing Kit , Bolt Tune-Up Kit and CNC-Machined Disconnector. The Pistol Competition Kit is designed to produce a crisp, clean 2.25 trigger pull, eliminate stovepipes, and eliminate failures to fire! Comes with original parts, case and 2 magazines (not shown in pics). $650
  11. I find stuff all the time I have no idea where it came from. Lol.
