  1. the 1911 was the second gun I purchased..... I have been hooked since.
  2. Harvested a Deer earlier this year with my new edge. I picked up the .308 also the only thing I don't like is the heavy trigger but for the price its hard to beat. I picked mine up with a scope for 275 out the door.
  3. Hey LA, is your rifle 7.62 like mine or 6.8? Mine is still a work in progress. It needs a new stock and optics and eventually a new quad rail handguard.
  4. Yeah the mouse is much quicker and you dont stand a chance playing with a controller. I played counter strike and rainbow six on tje PC but that was about it. I have always been a console gamer. Murgatroy, it was very possible like I said earlier that's all I have been doing. If I see you on I will jump in with you. Have you tried the battlefield commander matches yet?
  5. yeah no inter console play. I dont mind the fact that you cant shoot to heavy material but plywood and vinyl siding houses things like that you should be able to deal some damage. I am not saying the two shots and your dead but if I put 30 rounds into through the wall you should die. I just played a game online and I sniper was hiding in a window with just half his head showing.... I have a scar with an Acog on it and I shot half a mag at him and never killed him and I did see hit markers. I should be able to shoot through that wall and kill him with that many rounds. If you can find a good window and snipe in this game you can dominate because it's hard to hit just the top half of the head.
  6. Hey guys I picked up Homefront the day it came out..... and I was let down some. I did have really high hopes from watching all the extra videos and getting into the story line through the HF website. The Campaign was short to me. I finished it the first day, but I must say I had back surgery 3 weeks ago so I am still laying around recovering.... I have time on my hands JOHNNY you were right on. I dont know how many times I tried to climb a ladder or crawl under a wall only to have to wait from my team to go at first, that got old in a hurry. Oh and by the way if you need a cheap Flak jacket... Just buy a piece of plywood, cut it down and tape it to your chest and back, you can not shoot through any thing in this game, OSB stops bullets, it gets annoying. With that said the online play is actually really enjoyable. It does remind me of Battlefield bad company, the controls are not as smooth as black ops or any other FPS but you get used to it after awhile. With all that being said it is worth the money just for the online play. I like it because it gives me a break from black ops, I am currently on my 9th prestige and a few levels away from my 10th. If you plan on buying used to save some money just know that you must purchase an online code to play online... that is if the original owner used the one that was provided with the game. If anyone wants to play online sometime hit me up, I dont have to many friends playing this game yet. XBOX GT zS OJSimpson Sz
  7. Xbox Live. zS OJSimpson Sz If you send an invite just give me a heads up on who you are.
  8. yeah from what I have read stamped is just fine. Looking back I wish I would have just bought an AK instead of the hybrid AR that I did. I wanted all the gadgets and style of the AR but wanted to knockdown power of the 7.62 round. I am going to try and trade the keltec and maybe some cash for an ak and then just try to get the AR working like I want it to.
  9. I have a JT/DoubleStar AR. It's chambered in 7.62x39 and I have some extra "tacticool" parts on it. I am currently having an issue with it failing to eject spent rounds so I wanted to fix that and get rid of it. I added the MGI bolt and it shoots everything but it stopped ejecting rounds last Saturday. I stripped it down and the carrier key was very loose, I could tighten the screws with my finger so my main thing is I just want reliabilty. I know I could save 400 bucks and buy a cheaper ak and it would work and I might do that, I also have a Keltec pf9 I could trade towards a cheap ak. I am currently stuck at hone for the next 4 weeks due to back surgery so I am working on this to eat up some time up while laying around.
  10. Thanks guys, the only issue I have with the red jacket is That the barel Is not threaded, but I know I can have this done so it's ok. I do like how they seem to really take pride in their work or atleast it looks like that on tv. I feel I would get a very nice setup from RJ. The arsenal is nice since it does come threaded with a flash hider attached but it's hard to find them in stock anywhere. I guess my next hurdle is selling what I have now.
  11. Hey guys, I am thinking about selling my AR and buying an AK. I have been looking around and really like the converted saigas that Red Jacket makes. I found them for 639.00 But I wanted to see if anyone had any better ideas on what to buy. Here is the link for the saiga. AK 47 Rifle Red Jacket RJ132 , these rifles are a great rifle at an affordable price, they are imported Russian AK IZ 132 rifle and skillfully upgraded by the experts @ Red Jacket Firearms . The RJ132 features original Russian chrome lined barrel, si I am looking for a quality rifle that will be trouble free. Any help is appreciated.
  12. It's snowing in murfreesboro!!!!
  13. No snow in Murfreesboro yet..... I am really bummed!
  14. I like my Chip Mccormick Power 10. It gives you 11 rounds instead of 8. I have not had any problems with feeding issues.
  15. thanks for all the help guys. I will be picking mine up in the morning.
  16. thanks guys I am looking for something to carry other than my 1911 and I think the kel-tec would work. It's hard to conceal the 1911 all the time so it would be great to have something small and thin for an alternative. Have any of you guys had any issues with it being reliable?
  17. Hey guys I was looking at picking up a Kel-tec pf-9 for christmas but I wanted to check and see if anyone on here has any experience with them and could give me a heads up before I decide to buy one. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
  18. Yeah it was bad, the wife and I watched it tonight kate was just pitiful.
  19. terry waldens down in manchester..... it's about a 40 minute drive. Terry has a nice covered outdoor rifle range and then a pistol range I am not sure how for the ranges are but it's the longest rifle range I have shot at. They charge 5 bucks for unlimited time just call before hand to make sure he is not teaching a class or someone has it booked for private use.
  20. I moved out of my grandmothers basement weeks ago...... thats why I had to put off picking the game up until I could get all my stuff moved into the hotel here in town.... so what if I dont have food for a week I have black-ops!
  21. I picked it up today and will start shooting zombies tonight. I put off buying the game long enough..............
  22. I don't have it yet I was hoping HALO reach would hold me over but I don't see that happening...... I may just have to go pick it up and just let the wife get mad at me
