  1. Man, My wife is bad about this stuff. She will just give out personal info to anyone. We had a door to door security system salesman stop by last week. I was outback working in the garden and just happened to walk into the back door as she is talking to the guy with the front door wide open, she is a small woman 5'3" 115 lbs I do not like when she does this. She then calls me up to talk to him... I did not want to listen to his sales tactics, I worked sales for years and I have heard it all. I tell him that at the moment we are not interested but she keeps on talking telling him way more than he needs to know she even brings up my guns..... I quickly wrapped everything up and shut the door after that and then I explained AGAIN to my wife that she does not need to tell anyone about my firearms or any other personal info. My wife is very naive she grew up sheltered all the way through college and never really had to make a tough decision or experience real life until after we got married. I love her and she is one of the best people i have ever met but come on man!
  2. Cedar will be even more expensive than the treated pine. If you are going to stain them then just go with the pine and save the money. Use 6x6 on the post and make sure you get an anti sag kit. If you build the gate larger than normal make sure you put wheels on it so it's east to move and the wheels also keep it from sagging.
  3. I worked for lowe's for 6 years and both the box stores are usually higher than a local company. A lot of times though the material is fairly priced at lowe's but make sure to shop around.
  4. That is Labor. You would still need to buy material, sorry about leaving that out the first time. I will say what ever you do do not buy the pre built sections, by the lumber then build it that way the pre built sections are poorly built.
  5. Usually starting out for a basic fence it's around $ 7.50 a linear foot. But if you add gates it goes up.
  6. Hey guys, I traded for a Intrac Knox Arsenal Bulgaria AK-47, It is the Hungarian Kit with a milled receiver, any of you guys have any history with one of these? It seems to be built pretty well.
  7. I F'n hate ticks! I bow hunted all last year and never had a single one on me. I drenched my clothes and boots in Permethrin. I can not tell you how well it works. I also eat a lot of garlic so that may have something to do with it also but I do recommend using permethrin all season on your clothes.
  8.   You're telling me they have other fish than Bass in Guntersville? I am heading that way the first weekend of april and then the last weekend of april for some bass fishing. My goal is to fish that lake once a month this year.
  9. I live east of 65 so all I am preparing for is rain...... plus i have cold beer, guns and food I'm good.
  10. I shot ammo through a mosin that went through Katrina. It was corroded and rusted and shot just fine..... but thats a mosin. Hell the ammo was probably dug up from some field and then sold.
  11. I just flipped it over to football to hear this rant from Bob... needless to say I stopped watching after listening to this horseS.... stuff! Crazy is crazy when will people learn this. He could kill with what he wanted it's not the guns fault.
  12. I have installed about 4 floors with it myself. I'm a project manager for a restoration company in town and we install a lot of the floating floors and they look good. The hardest part is around the door jambs and also just getting it started. If it's a square room once you get started it's a piece of cake. Make sure you have a Circular saw, jamb saw, dead blow hammer and tap block. Also buy a decent product, you get what you pay for. Oh and don't forget the underlayment it will help with sound.
  13. I had a friend tell me about these guys, said they were great to deal with. I will be checking it out saturday.
  14. So I just found out the my neighbor has video cameras around his property and caught the guys breaking into his truck last night. So we have pictures of both young guys... I am only guessing that they are the same people but it seems like a good chance they are the same people since he is a couple houses down,
  15. heys guys, the last 3 serial numbers are 846 and it's a brown frame black slide pf-9. The cops have everything they need and like I said I am not expecting to ever see it again, I usually take it in but the wife and I brought in groceries last night and I forget to grab it. It was just perfect timing for who ever took it, my doors are always locked and I usally leave nothing but the GPS in the truck ..... except for last night. Lesson learned.
  16. So I found out this morning that my truck was broken into last night and my GPS and Keltec are missing.. I called the sheriffs office and took care of everything with them. Apparently they have busted some kids in a neighborhood close to mine a couple of times with stolen merchandise before and the officer felt confident that it was them. I take it that if they try and sell it to a pawn shop it will show up stolen??? I don't expect to ever see it again but it would be a pleasant suprise if it was found. This happened in the southern area of murfreesboro by the way.
  17. That has to be one of the best translations ever. Good job sir
  18. I have one of the pt 1911AR and love mine. I have a couple thousand rounds through it and I have never had a problem. I hope they get it fixed for you.
  19. Parkerson construction, 615-898-8282. They are based out of Murfreesboro and I have been working with them for about 3 years now. I enjoy working with them and think they do very good work.
  20. I pocket carry my PF-9 and don't mind it at all. I love the thin small frame of it and it shoots a 9mm round which I feel more comfortable with over other small calibers. I will admit that the keltec is not a gun I take to the range to shoot for pleasure but it gets the job done and unlike some I have had no problems out of mine at all. It's a nice alternative for when I don't want my 1911 on me.
  21. thats my feed ramp. It's kind of hard to see but at the bottoms of the ramps there are little dings from where rounds have jammed. And yes I know it's dirty at the moment So do you guys think maybe it's the magazine and not my rifle?
  22. ..... In 7.62x39 and every now and again I have feeding issues the round will jamb into the feed ramp. I thought to problem was the C products mag but after reading your comment about the feed ramp I bet thats my issue. I have a J&T / Doublestar.
  23. LA did you do the feed ramp work or have someone else do it? I have an AR
