We discuss anything over $400ish before either of us bother someone with a purchase. "Putting your Wife in her place" is worse than stringing someone along IMHO. It also disrespectful and dishonest to use the Wife as a scapegoat.

We do go to the mountains together some. I love my Wife with all my heart. I love doing things with her. We just don't have to do everything together. She will take the kids and her mother on a cruise and come back glowing. Nothing makes me happier. If I was stuck on a boat that long I'd be miserable and she wouldn't have fun because she'd know it. It wouldn't matter how much I pretend to have fun. On the flip side, dragging her all over the country shooting hogs at midnight would not be her idea of fun. Her mother and sister would never go on vacation because they are both single. Because I stay home, they don't feel like they are intruding by going. They also don't mind helping with the kids. It works out great for everyone. In the end, we both respect one another and communicate. I hope you guys have a great relationship with you significant other. It doesn't matter how you're relationship is structured, as long as you respect and love one another.

It's not spectacular, but it's unforgiving. legal advises against discussing work on line or with non-employees. In 12 years I retire and boy do I have some stories. Most are funny, some...not so much.

My Wife likes the beach. I've had my fill of the salt water and sand. I'd be miserable. She knows this and would feel horrible trying to make me go. She would hate doing what I do on vacation and I refuse to demand She go. We live our own lives together with a common goal and the understanding that we are equal. I refuse to tell my Wife how to live her life and instead support her. In return She reciprocates. It's fantastic.

I don't vacation with my wife. I've been told I'm doing it wrong by people who've been divorced 3 times.

We have 5 guys coming at the end of June. I get them the 1st day. The older guys are already cracking up about me getting them all at once. My day is called the death march. They will have been through 2 weeks of indoctrination and orientation by that point. One guy is someone that knows me out side of work. I've warned him that I'm not remotely the same person at work that I am outside of work. He's not to discuss it with my family. My first day job is to scare the S$%t out of them so they don't die in the first week. The guys get them for about 3 days after that. They are much easier on them. Getting them into the swing of things. I get them after that for a while, but I'm much easier on them at this point. This is when I recommend that we keep or drop them. It's very important that they question and or refuse to do some of the things I ask them to do at this point. I will try and get them to do things they know are dangerous and potentially life ending. They will be perfectly safe because it's all set up beforehand, but they need to be able think for themselves and question someone in authority. This works incredibly well. Plus I usually get to pick the name they'll be known by for the next 20 or so years. I hope they all make it, but I'm going to lean on them pretty hard.

Most of the problems come from progressive presses. This assumes everything is set up properly in the first place. I've had normal dies that work just fine on a single stage, but if used on my Dillon the brass is a bit tight in some guns. It's from the inability to cam over like you can with a single stage. I use the Dillon when I am processing brass for my ar10 or ar15. The trim die is essentially a small base die. Everyone will drop freely from a case gauge after loaded. I can't have a problem 12 hours from the house. I've seen what happens when ammo on the large end of the spec meets a chamber on the small end of the spec. Thankfully I always take twice as much ammo as I think I'll need and have had to donate some to the cause. @Handsome RobI usually do 1k 5.56 or 308 at a time and you can definitely feel the difference in some chambers from the change in force needed to size them.

If you get a small base die, you'll never have that problem again. Some chambers need it and some don't.

If you're using handloads and the brass has been used in a different chamber, you may need small base dies.

Out of spec chamber or out of spec ammo.

If a TN cop see you with one, they are not supposed to enforce the federal law or report you to the atf. If the atf catches you, TN will not assist I any way. This is how these laws typically work.

It needs to be 4 door. There are 7 of us, but we are never all in the same vehicle at the same time. The new truck/suv will need to seat 5. It will primarily be my vehicle. I'll need room for guns and gear for the Texas trips I take 5-6 times a year. I don't know if you've ever looked at a NV3500, but everything is smaller compared to it. It's a good van though. She's tired of parking that boat every time she needs to just run to town while I'm with the kids.

I have a company vehicle that I put most of my miles on. I drive a 2001 Ford f150 and a 52 Studebaker as my personal vehicle. My Wife drive a NV3500. We don't need to carry the wheelchair as much as we have in the past. She needs something smaller she can run around from time to time and I need to replace an aging truck. I really need to let this chip shortage end.

I may have to hold off for 6 more months. People with Jeep rubicons are crazy. Toyota TRDs are outdated. Even 40k used vehicles are junk. Not one single dealer knew about black out kits or if they could download one into a truck. One was a 2018 rubicon for 44k that had 13 major paint issues and a tapping lifter.

They haven't. 2 of 4 guys quit. 1 guy transferred to Chicago.

I watched a guy quit a 125k a year job with 4 10s because he had to work overtime some. He was in his early 20s and less than 2 months in.

Interviews today through Thursday, so hopefully we get 5 more good guys. This will help some, but not my position. They did give me the ability to do most of my work from anywhere in the world internet is available. I'm not sure that's a good thing. LOL. We do have a guy that i work with that moved to New Zealand. I have found myself interacting with my family through the security cameras at the house a bit more.

I managed to work 175 hours in overtime in March. I'll get about 70 in April because I took a week of vacation. I've watched 21-25 year old kids quit after a month in other departments because they "worked so much". The guys were making really good money. I just don't get it.

He could have had people with him. Loading 40 guns in the back of a truck/van in 2 or 3 minutes wouldn’t be hard. He wouldn’t be treating them like prized possessions. Grab a handful and chunk them in. Repeat that a few times and done. The place is relatively protected from eyes. One guy could do it in 5 minutes. 5 minutes is a lifetime in a robbery and the guy wouldn’t have been able to hesitate. Who knows his true motivation. I hope they catch everyone involved. I also hope they resist. Just saying it could have been one guy.

The act itself wouldn't be that hard. Especially if they were unsuspecting victims. Throw in a bit of meth and you have a disastrous robbery. He would have lost his ability to unload the guns locally and I doubt he has connections to Mexico. He was done the moment he pulled the trigger.

Dealers are: A: putting a high price on reloading supplies. B: holding reloading supplies in the back and limiting how much you can take. It sucks, but it is what it is. Pay $200 per lb/per 1k primers on gunbroker or pay 60% in house. I'm lucky enough to have what I need and most of what I want. At the moment, I want one more lb of Varget. I have enough to load 470 rounds now. I want to load 500 or my head will explode.
