  1. I use tingley boot covers. They are fantastic, but they are provided free so I have no idea the cost. I use a small plastic bag when I slide them on over my normal steel toe boots. I can maneuver on solid ice exactly the same as dry asphalt.
  2. His 1# issue is his kids. Everything else is secondary. I respect that. I would rather my kids hate me at Harvard rather than love me from the trailer park.
  3. They can help harvest or fertilize. It's up to them.
  4. Anyone starting problems in my farm will contribute to the 2 years of reserve food supply.
  5. So normally I have no issues in this area, but for some reason (probably because of his kids) I am having a hard time telling a friend he is slacking. He's already demonstrated his ability to affectively "hide the truth". However he doesn't do this when someone else is affected. I got him a job when he was in need, but hes in the bottom 40%. The company is not used to me recommending people and the first guy was someone the company was.....stunned and amazed at. The company will take someone no question asked if i recommend them. I had some reservations with this friend, but he is in a bad place and trying to get out. Do I destroy a friendship and guarantee his kids are taken care of " this assumes he takes the advise " by telling him he needs to get his s$%t together or do I stay out of it and possibly allow mom and step dad to take care of the kids future?

She has been stuck in the house for 4 days with 4 kids who were also stuck at the house. I guess it came down to who would file first. LOL

My Wife has been loading wood in the upstairs fireplace and downstairs wood stove while I've be working in the snow. I this she was under the impression it was something I liked doing. LOL I mentioned I had to cut it down, split it by hand, stack it, and bring it in the house. Probably not the best decision to bring that up. LOL

The amount of people on the road is amazing
  13. I have someone that 100% will not carry a 38 revolver because that's what women carry. I explained all the pitfalls and she practiced. She's cleared 100s of stovepipes and dead rounds to the point she expects evary round to fail. It was a PITA. Be careful how you word things. I'm 100% at fault for that one. She however is an absolute beast with a firearm now. I would not want to be someone she feels is a threat.
  14. If I where going that short, I'd just go to an 8" 300 blk.
  15. I'll give you a brief rundown. Two groups of bad people who ruled over people who just wanted to be left alone. Fought a war against bad people who ruled over people who just wanted to be left alone. One group won. That group wrote the history that showed the other group was bad and they were good. A few hundred/thousand years later the group that wrote history is now saying they were bad and the other bad group was good. Apply this to any conflict you choose.
  16. The Wife has been sick. Kinda rare for her. She's a lead nurse and is around all kinds of nastys 24-7. She has great immunity, but she got got this time.
  17. I always clean before sizing. I also run the brass through the Dillon with only a decapping die in it first. I will clean after all case sizing and prep work is done also. Everything else depends on what I'm loading and what it's for. Hunting, match, semiauto, bolt, supersonic, or subsonic. I'll do this for 20 rounds or 1500 rounds. It all gets done a few weeks ahead of time. They'll get a 30 minute run in the oven at about 150° and then get to hang out with the dehumidifier for at least 2 weeks. That room stays at 45%.
  18. Got one. Could use some smaller bottles with screw on caps. 750 ml or growlers.
  19. Need a few carboys around the Columbia area.
