No trypod is as accurate as a bench. We have killed coyotes at 500ish yards at night in Texas though.

I'll tell you this....conventional shooters will tell you to set up the trypod so you stand upright. No leaning over at all. This is the most accurate way to shoot from a trypod. If you ever hunt anything that will attack you, it's a bad idea. Always have it set up so you can shoot 3 foot in front of you if needed. I've been there more than once. LOL

So I pretty much live my life shooting off a trypod. I've used tripods that run 2k+. While I don't use a bog pod or the $2K trypod, the bog pod will do 90% of everything that needs to be done from a trypod. If you've never used a trypod, it's amazing. My trypod is probably around $800ish for a small fraction of extra functionality. You'll be happy once you get used to it.

I my have a N-vision NOX 35 laying around. Lol If you don't mind Chinese parts, Iray has some really cool scopes.

There are several 3D printed suppressors on the market now. They do require the cost prohibitive 3D printers that can print in steel and titanium.

My 9mm is about as quiet as a .22 semiauto and more reliable, but I've loaded it with what my buddies call "nerd" ammo. It's not as quiet as my bolt .22 though. It has 1k psi less muzzle pressure than standard subsonic. My single shot .45 acp is definitely louder, but only when compared to the 9mm and .22. I mean you could shoot a guy with the 45 outside your living room window with you in the living room and you wouldn't have a clue.

But American Chopper! -
It's probably a hi point with a pvc suppressor on it.

FYI it'll be extremely easy to track down all owners of the B&T if in fact that's the gun.

It doesn't have a name stamped on it. Only a number. -
What kind of groups are you getting out of the gun?

Dedicated .308 can, or multi cal?

I would never use a non rimfire suppressor on a rimfire. They fill up with lead quick. You really need a serviceable can that can be put in the sonic cleaner. Some manufacturers will "clean" it for you. -

It depends on your budget. I started off wanting one .30 cal. Now a suppressor gets budgeted for each rifle build. A dedicated can for that cal will always be quieter assuming equal quality suppressors. Other things come into play when you are considering a suppressor. What's the intended purpose. Things like size, weight, and flash signature. You may want titanium or stainless steel depending on your needs. Multi cal suppressors tend to be one of those things that do everything, but don't excell at any one thing.
