Last time I checked, they can't give the reason for firing you to a potential employer. They MAY be able to say you were fired for cause. I'll have to check with the HR folks in my company to see if it's law or just our policy. I don't work for walmart.

It's just new technology. The good news, a test will still be $100 a pop, and the results aren't available for an hour. Doesn't sound like a routine screening option to me. The technology itself is a good thing. Government abuse is another matter

I'm a real stickler for buying stuff that runs on AA and AAA batteries. Doesn't bother me so much when they run down, because you can buy them everywhere.

Here's the deal. I have traveled all over the country, and haven't had to produce ID anywhere (except the airport), and I have to do it everywhere in Tennessee. When a law makes you do something that you don't have to do in any other state, it's probably a stupid law. Stupid pisses me off. I don't buy beer every day, but they do it for cigarettes too. I know... it's for the children.

I have a few other things that drain batteries ove time. No big deal. My AR gets pretty regular attention from me. The eotech will at least let you know when the batteries are low.

Both. It's a retarded law. I have never been carded at a liquor store, but get carded at the grocery store for beer. This state is stupid about alcohol laws, and probably always will be.

There's no reason for the circuitry to draw any current when it's off if it's designed properly, unless they have to keep a little juice flowing to make it come on at low temps. it would be interesting to see the circuits. If they're calling it a sleep mode, there's not a leaky cap problem. Tantalums are pretty good if they're not reverse biased. Anyway, I like the sight picture and reticle, so I'm stuck with the Eotech and my trusty MOE grip. I don't care that the Aimpont has great battery life, because I woudn't be happy with the sight.
