  1. ST-ACR1M Microphone Level Audio Controlled Relay - 0.5 to 5 s delay This is exactly what you need. 100 bucks or so. You will have to add pigtails so you can plug things in. You may also have to add a 24V wall wart power supply. Not sure if it comes with one. If you decide to do it, let me know and I'll make a drawing for you.

How is the trigger compared to the LCP? The LCP has a long pull too, but I can still put holes in the target

    My P01 doesn't

I'm not really a backup kinda guy either. One gun at a time... always. If I'm going somewhere that may require more gun, I'll just take a bigger gun.
  5. My eyes went crossed about 4" into it
  6. Militiapedia!
  7. I think this is one of those guys that isn't happy with the NRA when it comes to HIS priorities. I'm pretty happy with the NRA. They're not perfect, but well worth what little they get from me. Fortunately, I don't have to worry about his motivation, since I'm not going to support loud little groups over the established large organization. Gun lobbying is complicated, and takes lots of resources.
  8. Nope. The founder is a right winger. I didn't read anything bad about him. I just choose to throw my money behind the big boys.

The DA trigger kinda sucks. I always carry mine half cocked.

I have a different set of standards for a pocket gun. I'm going to spend a lot more time carrying it than shooting it. So... if I can fire the thing accurately, and manage to hang onto it, then it's OK for a pocket gun. I absolutely hate shooting my J frame, but carry it a lot.

    I have a P01. Great pistol. It's heavier than a tupperware gun.
  12. THIS. They may not know. Even if they do, a complaint from a citizen can add justification to issue a warrant (just speculating). If I see that kind of activity, I'm calling it in. If nothing gets done, I'll take it to a higher power. There was a bust in my neighborhood several years ago. The guys had TBI on their vests.
  13. I didn't think about melting one. That's probably the best way to do it
  14. It depends on how you are going to use the rifle. I also have a Jard 1 1/2 pound adjustable single stage on my varmint AR. It has a light pull but quite a bit of creep. It allows me to shoot tight groups, but I'm not a big fan. I wouldn't use something that light for off hand shooting. I have done lots of research on triggers. The Geissele triggers get the best reviews. I don't think I've seen a negative review anywhere. Two stage is probably the best way to go on an AR. EDIT: BTW... Geissele doesn't cheat. One trick to lighten trigger pull is to reduce the power in the hammer spring. That opens you up to light primer strikes, and failure to fire on some ammo. Geissele gets the job done with good machining and a full power hammer spring.
  15. Unless the Koreans own the guns. This thing is signed by Rand Paul. Of course Obama did it. I'm gonna keep sending my money to the NRA.
  16. Scoped rifles really mess with the count.
  17. Yep. Everthing but the ring of fire brands, and sometimes those too.

    Ar 15 Optics?

The military uses lots of Aimpoints and Eotechs.

    Ar 15 Optics?

I really like the Eotech, with the exception of the turn-off procedure. I woulld like it better if I had a flip-up front sight.

Even with a lower 1/3 cowitness, the dot should line up with the irons if they're zeroed at the same range.
  21. The cover takes pressure off the feed lips when the mag is loaded... A unique snap-on Impact Cover is included with each magazine. This multi-purpose tool positively locks into place on top of the magazine to prevent debris contamination and maintains feed lip integrity over extended storage periods. This allows the PMAGâ„¢ to be used as pre-loaded ammunition containers for distribution in logistical supply chains. In use the cover may be easily removed with one hand and can assist unloading and disassembly of magazines. The cover includes a field feed lip gauge to check critical dimensions. In addition, the impact cover may snap into place on the bottom of the PMAG for storage.
  22. ...and I saw it coming too. I have ESP

+1 on the PEPR if you're mounting a scope. I have one on my other AR
  24. A free floated AR is a wonderful thing!
