  1. Looks like the same basic mechanism as my Browning X bolt. I'll vouch for it. Great looking rifle. I like the scope too.
  2. In a nutshell... unintentional discharges have been extremely rare. Nobody knows how many of those were caused by trigger screw diddling.
  3. I guess it's good news for your profession. We need to hit the reset button, but it won't happen.
  4. Looks like they could be the real deal. Anybody laid hands on any of their stuff?
  5. I have received a bunch of stocking stuffer multi-tools over the years. Some are pretty low quality. It would really depend on that. I have one hard and fast rule... no cheap tools on my guns. I won't even use the flat choke tube wrenches. I agree that it would be handy at the range if a piece of scope hardware rattled loose, or soemthing similar. That hasn't happened to me since I started using the Fat Wrench.
  6. Especially not a bolt gun in a magnum caliber.
  7. If you want get down to it, we've been trying to get rid of the delusional clown in the White House for decades. There seems to be an endless supply.
  8. Here's my latest. Thanks to Dolomite for some guidance along the way. Not really designed to pile up dead zomibies in the front yard. Got one of them too. The A2 stock is just a placeholder at this point. There's a Magpul PRS on the way...
  9. The 24" won't be any more accurate than a 16", but the muzzle velocity will be significantly higher. I was going for long range.
  10. You don't need a vise to zero the scope. A decent rest should work, especially if you shoot that way without one. my barrel is a 24" fluted bull in stainless. Should be real accurate, but it's real heavy too. So is the optic
  11. You got a good 'un then. I'm still trying to get to the range with my new one. I'm expecting great accuracy from it too. It's just pretty heavy to be doing much off hand shooting.
  12. Yep, if I shot 1/4 MOA off hand with any rifle, I would quit shooting for good
  13. Wow. That's like less than a .25 MOA rifle.
  14. I hope you put the little finger lip on the bottom of the mag. It helps.
  15. Yep, I had a couple of ex-girlfriends and one ex-wife that were guilty of that. Don't think it was a felony back then, but I'm still real glad they didn't get caught. I'm waiting for them to make farting in public a felony. It's about time somebody actually proved in court that it wasn't the dog.
  16. You can always get something like this, and keep track of your own BAC before you drive. I don't own one, but have read quite a bit about them. You can't cheap out on one. You need to get something that's good enough to be used for field screening by LEO's. BACtrack S80 Pro Breathalyzer Professional Edition
  17. The site must be broken. I received 4 copies of the same PM this morning
  18. Bush DID start it. He was just listening to his paranoid security wanks. Obama is continuing it for the same reasons. I'm pissed at BOTH of them
  19. The Apex stuff is great! i have it too.
  20. Oh hell no! Don't tell me you're turning into a Commie I was already worried about you with all those Austrian pistols.
  21. I only have a few hundred down mine. My favorite pistol right now.
  22. Naturally, the Tennessean is going to quote an anti-gun douchebag like Rayburn. Like I said, the NRA needs to publish a blacklist.
  23. At least, the NRA needs to publish a list of posted places. Rayburn and the rest of those clowns don't need to see one penny of the revenue.
  24. I'm in for more than one
