It is a nice gun and I like Glock's but for the extra $$$ I would go for the Shield and I did. If you have giant hands you will probably end up carrying a bigger gun anyhow.

If I got shot by any calabar gun I would back off if I could. Hit in a organ it really does not matter what the calabar is.

When you are wearing shorts and just want something in your pocket a .380 is perfect. Lets face it you will be up close and personal if you have to use it!

Curious... what exactly would Davidson do? Give you your money back? I doubt it. Repair it? Tell you to contact Sig?

I don't like snickers either. Thanks you!

I love my 19 but the Shield is an awesome carry gun. For me the 26 is just too fat and does not feel good in my hand. Both Glock and S&W make great guns. It boils down to a matter of choice. I would love to have a fully auto Travar mini LOL

I don't know where my Glock 19 gen 4 is made but I sure do like shooting it. I get much better groupings with my Glock than any of my other guns. My FNC is pretty darn good too.

Polished up the feed ramp real good (it was dirty) and went to the range today. The first few mags I had some of the same issues and then they went away. Ran a good 80 rounds through and no issues on the last 60 or so. I think I will continue to carry my Shield for a while and test the Sig out one more time.

The earlier models of P938 had issues with FTF and FTE. Newer ones do not. They did something to correct it. Mine is an older model. I did not have any issues early on so I thought I was good to go. I do not shoot this gun all the time but a few month ago I started taking it to the range to compare it to my S&W Shield. That is when I started having issues. I have a lot of money invested in this Sig because I added a CT laser. People make a choice where they spend there money and Sig should understand that. They will not keep customers without top notch customer service.

I have a few other Sig's with no issues. I will stick with S&W and Glock.

Thanks Hozzie... that looks really nice. Could be perfect for what I am looking for. I have a range bag but have to carry ammo in a separate bag. I want to get everything in one good quality bag.

I have two nylon 5.11 style and I don't care for how long the tail is and how it secures with velcro. Just purchased a real nice leather belt on Amazon for $54. Black or Brown. Very good fit and finish and it looks nice like a dress belt. Check it out. http://www.amazon.com/Double-Stitched-Heavy-Leather-Brown/dp/B01B9QF5IA?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00

Need an Ophthalmologist Recommendation - Knoxville
TNMP40 replied to 2Alpha's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
I had the same issue. I purchase some 1.5 safety glasses from Amazon and they were not very expensive. That was all I really needed for that distance. They will scratch easily so be careful with them... but they work. -
Traveling by car from TN to NJ for an outing
TNMP40 replied to RAJBCPA's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
In addition to NJ you have to go through MD. Do not take a gun into NJ. http://www.usacarry.com/concealed_carry_permit_reciprocity_maps.html -
This topic sure took a fork in the road.... my point (I think) was that if you choose to OC don't you think is wise to use a holster that has at least some form of firearm retention device? It just makes sense to me. What would the liability be if a kid grabbed your gun and shot someone? I am guessing the attorneys would certainly bring you into the law suit.

I am not against open carry and it does not bother me when I see someone who open carries. That said I have had at least two situations where I thought the person who was open carrying was inexperienced or just being foolish. If you are going to open carry you should at the very least have a holster that has some sort of security device so that someone can not walk up behind you and take your gun. Something to make it a little difficult. The other day I was in Home Depot walking down the isle and there was a man in his 50's carrying open. I paused for a minute behind him. He was reading something about a product and had no idea I was behind him. I notice that his gun was in an open holster and I could have easily snatched it before he knew what was happening. I was going to say something but decided against that as he might not like my suggestions. On another occasion I saw a young guy with his girlfriend in a grocery store and he was open carrying around the small of his back... I thought WTH. He is an idiot kid. What are your thoughts... do you run into this often?

You really should own BOTH... Sigs will cost you more but they are a sweet shooting gun. Just bought a Glock 19 v4 so next time I go to the range I will be shooting it along side my Sig P239 (which I love). Both are about the same size but the Sig is heaver (all metal). Everyone should own at least one or two Glocks. Advantage Glock 15 round magazine!

I did my research online and then went shopping. Got a good deal on a Liberty at Gander but you are right they just hire people to take a number and their guns are way over priced! If you got to have it chances are they got it but you will pay top dollar,

Custom Leather Crossdraw Holster?
TNMP40 replied to PackinMama's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
I hate buying holsters that I can't see and feel. Just about everything that I have ordered has been not all that acceptable. Being a lefty forget about finding anything in a store. With all the holsters that Bass Pro has in stock they had ZERO for a lefty. -
Custom Leather Crossdraw Holster?

I am looking to get on for my 938. What cant did you order 20 degree? -
I carry the Sig P938 most of the time but only pocket carry on occasion. It is small but heavy. Also have an LC9 which is a nice size and weight but I hate the trigger pull on it. Most experts advise against pocket carry... you need to be extra save doing that.

Anybody practice drawing when buckled in your car?
TNMP40 replied to KahrMan's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
Don't practice drawing but I do make sure it is quick and easy to get to. Normally when in the car I do not have it in a holster or on my person. I don't live in the Hood or on the South Side either.
