  1. 1951 Tula, all matching numbers.  It does have CCCP on the side of the receiver which I understand was added by the importer (gimmick?) and not desirable to collectors. I bought it to shoot, not collect so I'm happy.
  2.   I agree.  And my hands are to small to use it as a pistol grip.  Gonna either put a normal stock on it or purchase an extra and attempt to carve the thumb-hole to fit my hands. That bulky stock absorbs lots of recoil.
  3. Either Glock or M&P depending on which feels and shoots the best for you.
  4. Thanks, I like the MAK as well but I'm thinking about changing out the stock.  The thumb-hole is definitely made for my small hands. It has a very nice trigger for an AK
  5. He says he had magazine(s) for it somewhere.  I'll let him know.
  6. A friend recently inherited some nice rifles and had a few he was thinning out. I could only afford 3 of them but am very happy and had to share. I know it didn't happen without pics, so here they are. Izhevsk mosin m44 - Tula SKS - Norco MAK90
  7. Dang, you guys are quick!
  8. I'm not sure about the caliber, I'll ask him if shows the caliber anywhere on it.
  9. Ok, here's some pics of a second rifle my friend recently inherited. My searching leads me to believe it may be an Tokarev SVT-38 or 40. Thought I'd pass it by the knowledgable here for help with the ID. Thanks, I was able to enlarge the pic of the receiver top to see the markings...don't seem to be able to do it here.
  10.   Unfortunately inheritance comes from a loss. But true, he gained some nice firearms.  He also has an Tokarev rifle that I'm thinking may be a SVT-40.  I want to put some pics up later.  It's difficult to distinguish the markings on it.   I was fortunate to pick up a Tula SKS and a Izhevsk Mosin M44 both with matching serial numbers and a Norinco milled MAK-90 from him that he wasn't interested in keeping.   Needless to say, I'm happy.
  11. Hoping someone here will have some information they would share on this rifle. A friend of mine recently inherited several weapons, this one in particular is one we haven't been able to identify. Any help is appreciated. thanks,
  12. Thanks for all the info.  Heck, I thought it was a new product...guess i was wrong.  Anyway, i got 1000 coming from SGA.
  13. I've been seeing this recently at pretty decent prices and was wondering if anyone here had any experience with it.  Most calibers available and re-loadable brass.  Thoughts?
  14. Out of curiosity I Dropped by on my way to work this morning. One full pallet and a hundred or so boxes left.
  15. I never considered the specifics...just thought 35cents / round for plinking to be a decent price.
  16. had to leave some for others
  17. 100 count value packs @ $35 each.  At least 20 boxes on the shelf at 1030.  No limit
  18. I am lucky to have a 24 x 24 garage that is all mine...until the wife wants to use it. Here's some pics
  19. Great looking pics....could be in a magazine Very nice weapon as well.
  20.   I called the Armory and they confirmed it was.
  21. Fun match.  Guns, steel, and mud….what else could you ask for?
  22. Fart now loading...   I want one of those t-shirts
  23. Do non-members need to be with a club member to get in the gate?
  24. I didn't do a lot of research on it but I liked the looks of the phase 5.  I have the pistol buffer and tube that came with the Alpha Sports kit I bought, if your interested in it, let me know.
