This could work, but someone will complain about the rubber ducks as well.

Fellas, the problem with DC, is unique to DC, sure there's DC cops, but most of it is Secret Service Uniform, plus all the other LEO agencies in that area, the closer you are to different building the different LE agencies that will respond. Once again, I'm not against it, just think there's a better way...

The Benghazi thing, not sure what the response or sentiment was, but being that I was in the military, saying they could get enough assets on the ground to inflict pain is BS. If we can get Seals to HALO into the Indian ocean to take out a pirate, we could have gotten boots on the grounds to prevent what happen at the CIA Annex. And I'm not wearing my tin foil hat, yet.

6.8AR, I understand what you are saying.. We have to start somewhere, Is his approach ideal? Nope it is not. Marching on Washington and trying to get the numbers over the last couple of decades have not worked, either you don't get the numbers or it just falls apart. After the SF guys submitted their document with the signatures of Active/Reserve/Retired Operators, I contacted them to see if I can use it as a framework for Airborne Qualified personnel. I have yet to get to it, as it causes pain to think I gave 7 years to this nation (bad knees, messed up ankle, and quite possible some other stuff that VA will never recognize) for some pencil Dick in DC to destroy with a whip of a pen or vote. Up until the 2008 election, I was not a registered voter, nor a NRA member, nor participated is contacting my representatives to voice my opinion and let them know how I felt. Am I frustrated with the system, yes, I am, but that doesn't mean I'm going to go full retard to expose my frustration. There's better approaches, does it take time, yes it does, will we over come the biased media and the libtards, quite possibly but only if it's a unified approached. NRA is working it, some Sheriffs are working it, some States are working it, what we need to do is ensure we don't give the pencil dicks more reason and empower those that are fighting for us continue to do so. Senator X voted for a ban, next election he gets voted out, it might look like groundhog day every election, but after a while Politicians will get it when they are sitting on the side of the curb wondering where the dropped the ball.. Also another item to look at is the industry itself, several companies have decided to stop selling to states/cities, that have decided to play stupid games, until it's 100% complete agreement within the industry, it's not going to move forward. Same goes for LEO, if they don't agree 100% or their Chiefs are just looking out for their next political move, we are going nowhere. When the media continues to bash people who are willing to uphold the Constitution, we are going nowhere. We need to confront them and ask them why, what gets people going that are like that is not arguing with them, but asking them how they came to the conclusion and why they believe that is true. When you do that, they tend to fumble with their thoughts and ideas, and there's the opportunity for learning to occur. Last item, as some stated, play stupid games win stupid prizes.. Among the group their will be one idiot, that will just being finger fucking his weapon and then it's game on.. And we are going to be back to square 1.

Sorry but that's a train wreck waiting to happen. I understand civil disobedience as a means to protest, but if you have ever been in DC. Open Carry is not something to do unless you are wearing LEO uniform or are part of any of the alphabet soup agencies that are allowed to carry. Seriously too many damn agencies that will respond to any little thing..

Late to the Reloading Game but need to start
Joseg replied to Joseg's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
Could you provide me with more info, what dies will work with it, etc? do you have 9mm, .45 acp, or 5.56/223 dies? -
Yes, I've picked a great time to do get into it, but going thru my gear closet, I found all the brass (9mm, 5.56, .45) that I've shot over the past couple of years. Quite a bit of 9mm and 5.56.. I have yet to find a good source on presses that has them in stock and I already know of the shortage of reloading media, so my other alternative would be to find someone that would be willing to reload them for a price.. Any insight would be appreciated..

Leaked DOJ Memo: Outlaw and Confiscate All Guns
Joseg replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Sorry folks but anything that links to infowars.com is not worth even reading.. They might get some stuff right, but the rest is just moonbat shit.. -
BTW, keep in mind, not all of us wear boots, cowboy hats, have a southern draw, or ride horse (my girlfriend on the other hand does every now and then  ) . On serious note, welcome to the Free State of Tennessee. I see you don't list any of the 5 boroughs as your location, so you're ok..

Unimpressed with police work in Boston
Joseg replied to jgradyc's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Open field vs Urban environment are too different things. Urban environments (based on my Infantryman training circa 90-95) are the most dangerous working environment, because around every corner their could be a shooter or device waiting on you, so you have to be methodical when in this environment. I think the US Army FM on this is available and not classified, you should get it and read up on it. Keep in mind this was more of a Cordone and Search operation, they had no intel on where he was exactly till the tip after they told everyone they could go outside their homes. They did good by flooding the area with LEOs, but they did it in a methodical way, K9, SWAT, and other units to back them up, to include EMS. Keep in mind this all started with the FBI showing the pictures and video of them, which caused them to panic and want to flee, could they have had intel on where he was prior to the press conference and wanted to keep it a secret in case, he was using his phone to get police updates or someone was assisting him via phone. We will never know, but one thing is for sure, that kid is lucky, that he didn't try to go out pointing a weapon at the officers when surrounded.. So I say Bravo Zulu to the LEOs, the surrounding States that provided resources, the Federal agencies that were involved. less than 5 days after the bombing to capture or kill is pretty impressive. And should sent a message to wannabee terrorist that the US will not play.. -
How ya gonna build your TGO billet lower?
Joseg replied to Caster's topic in Gunsmithing & Troubleshooting

Fellas, take a look at the S&W M&P 10. it's decent rifle, I know SCAR17s is the chit, but for some of us that don't have 2500 at the moment, this is a bargain to get in the 308 game. Yes, I looked at this at one time, even got a chinese m14 to try out, decided to stick to my AR15s at the time but been looking at getting in the 308 Battle rifle game (FAL, .308 AR)

If we can guarantee this won't get franked up, the I'll put my name in for 2.

"Did you contact your Reps to day" Roll call
Joseg replied to RED333's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Just contacted our esteemed Senators for dropping the ball. I will send an email to Congresswoman Diane Black. here shortly.. -
Well, since Sen. Corker replied to my email that he supported the 2nd Amendment and other Items and was graciously willing to send me a pdf on where he stood, I decided with his actions a reminder note was needed and sending the same pdf as a attachment to my email concerning his action:

I'd be interested, but I'm a bit worried about Group Buys after a former member on here and LF.net scammed several individuals, including guys that were deployed..

Old Infantryman mantra, carry less, freeze at night. Minimalist does play into effect as you state, but there's some things that cannot be sacrificed. What needs to be looked at is the distance to travel on foot: 0-10 miles not that bad 11-20 miles a little harder 20+ miles a plan need to in place because unless you're a stud, it's going to be a few long hours.

Pizza man ambushed by two BG's with shotguns
Joseg replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics

Sorry, but that's the one issue I have with the US currently. Pussification of America. Don't like that tattoo, eat shit. Don't like people in your country, then do something with the assholes that decide to call for jihad and have picked up arms in the name of your Religion of Peace. Sure, We, Catholics and Christians, have used our religion and killed in the name of ours, but we live in the real world these days and not in some backassward period.. Herd Vet. Thank you for your service..
