Win8 tells you how many days before it requires a restart to install the updates, I usually go pass those days anyways or restart it when I'm not doing antything with it..

Ok. 1,2,3 easily fixed with 8.1. 4,5 is not just win8, win7 does it as well. 6, keep telling yourself that, Mac os is Unix based and they get viruses.. yeah 8 is valid. Chrome book uses a sad to boot, if I installed one on my ultra book or laptop it will boot as fast as well. But I usually just hibernate my laptops anyways so it's always boots fast.. Not defending MS by anyway, just my experience with the software.. funny thing is that right now it might be crap, but one touchscreens kick in, I'm gonna laugh if other os software don't start doing great the same thing.

6.8AR = Win8 new UI interface is called Metro UI (yeah lame name but that's that they called it) Like I said, I don't have issues with Win8 because I go straight to desktop ( I use MSDN version of Windows 8 and not the bloatware versions of manufacturers), but 8.1 made it less painful to use. if I didn't have to use MS development tools to earn a living, I'd probably be on Linux (ubuntu)

And here I was thinking that you guys ran into some major file corruption. I have a 4 yr laptop running 8.1, a 11.5" touchscreen ultrabook running win8.1 and a desktop running 8.1 and I have yet to experience anything to want me to go back to windows 7. BTW, I used to run fedora and ubuntu, but started running MS development tools and didn't want to deal with WINE..
-
Can some tell what you guys are experiencing with Win8? I've been running it since beta and haven't found any reason to go back to win7, btw I'm running 8.1 pro and using it just like I always did, go to desktop and work, go to the MetroUI on occasions...

Wife of Miami Quarterback Leaves AR-15 in Rental Car
Joseg replied to waynesan's topic in General Chat
The funny part is all the naysayers saying she's not your type, y'all wouldn't kick her out of the bed in the morning.. -
Not sure if it was directed at me but, in case it was I took the high road after I said I could care less about them pissing, burning, whatever, just don't film shit. Despite me taking the OATH, yes that included to abide by the Geneva Convention, I've only had rehearsals and never got to fire my weapon in anger in the 6,yrs, 8 months, and 11 days I served (5yrs of those as a grunt). I can't tell you how I would feel if I lost a brother in combat, but I'm sure I would experience the will to seek revenge, being pissed, and ready to kill a mofo over it, but I still have other brothers to look after and I would hate myself even more if I did something stupid to cause harm to brothers. We are better than that and I'm sure there's probably a bigger story to this that the media is not showing. I mean after all, we, veterans and active duty personnel are killer and psycho paths according to the media and DHS, right?

So all of a sudden we are supposed to be righteous, did they forget the mutilation and burning of the Blackwater guys on the Fallujah bridge? I can think of several other things.. It was wrong, they should have been smart and got rid of the photos.. BTW, I'm going to take the High road on this because, those of us that sign on the dotted line, to an oath and to abide by the Geneva Convention.

2nd is a FN FAL SAR 48 Para Congo or Springfield SAR 5th is a Polish PPS-43C pistol

well, damn you all, looks like pistol build has started.. Quick question for those with the brace, do you carry a copy of the ATF ruling with you, just in case? In case would be I go to hobson pike range to shoot and some misinformed individual starts asking questions..
-
Does the brace need a pistol tube or can it be a regular tube? this is what is keeping me from ordering my parts..

Attention Vandy, will all the money you saved canning people, use those funds to ensure your football coach does not leave.. It's great to have a team in Tenn, that shuts all Vols fans up..
-
 That would be great.. I seriously doubt the Great folks down in Tuscaloosa will take betrayal lightly..
-
But you can't just approach it from one side, it needs to be the truth across the board, not tailored to one side or the other.. but then again, I don't have 40 acres or a mule, so you understand where that's going to end up..

Fellas, I don't see how this is a problem with all the deadbeat dads that are out there, what this guy did was not only funny, but full of win, though some of those costumes makes you wonder a bit.. That kid should be happy that he has a dad that will actually go out there and embarrass himself in front of the kids to show how much he care for his son. Sounds like a good dad/son relationship.

TMF, sure I don't agree with some of the NRA practices, but this video is full of nonsense, due to lack of knowledge by those speaking due to misinformation that was either handed to them to preach or they are just in denial due to being ignorant of the facts..

Fooking idiots.. Obama Supporters to say the least, there were some folks that stated a few good things, others were very very out in left field.. Some of them even look educated and still had bad info...

Nah, bro, I just found out that 2nd/3rdBN 325 Air, was attached to the Rangers to conduct an Airfield seizure but was called off before the ground war took place.. So you learn something new every day reading up what happened in the early Days..

Daniel, 82nd was deployed several times throughout 2003-2004, but during the initial push, 82nd 2nd Bde controlled that AO. Yes, after the shooting on April 28th, 2003, they were removed from that AO. Fallujah up to that point was calm, the incursions into the city and occupation of the School, were the start of the hostilities.. Look up Fallujah April 2003. 2/3 ACR came after 1/325 was removed from that AO after the 4/28/2003 shootings on the 4/30.. I'm just following up on your statement, just needed to get the timeline. I'm a not only a veteran, but like to study up on War history, especially on units I served in 5/87th (Panama), 82nd ABN DIV, 325 AIR (only Airborne Infantry Regiment in the world), 101st (Great History), you know the saying, those that don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it, so I study it. Not picking on you or your service, god knows, I would have give a left nut to be on the line with my brothers from other mothers, just making sure I didn't miss anything..
-
I think I need to do some research because, April 28, 2003, 82nd ABN, 2nd Bde, 1/325 AIR was involved in a shooting, which caused them to get replaced and then rest is history. But let me sure I get this right: March 20th 2003, ground invasion April 23, 2003 first troops in Fallujah April 28, 2003 1/325 AIR involved in shooting causing them to get pull for having a heavy hand.. So can someone please tell me when B 2/502nd was in fallujah? Because I can't find anywhere were it's stated..
