  1.     I think they knew there was better products on the market and better techniques, it was just part of the modeling process. So you would get used to embracing the suck..
  2. they had more than that.. available, PTAC m4 upper with bc and handle for 279.. earlier this morning..
  3. There was, shit, sold out.. crap should have jump on it..
  4. PSA, PTAC M4 with bolt and charging handle for 279 + shipping is a decent deal they got a few deals on uppers right now..
  5. meh. Shaving cream, issue toothbrush, and hot water. Spray with shaving cream (use the foamy one not the gel), scrub with toothbrush, rinse with steam hot water. Wipe down with towels, run borebrush, then a few patches down the bore. Then apply really light oil and then wipe down. Then sit back while the rest of the knuckle heads use CLP and spend 4-6 hours to clean a weapon, having it rejected by TL, SL, and then by the armor..    Never ever again get gigged during IG Inspections.
  6. Mambo.. Happy Feet!!
  7. I will post pictures later since I'm work and can't access them:   ATS Tactical War belt with just a small med pouch with basic items, safariland 6004 holster riding high (cut off the top belt to allow it to ride higher) ATS M4 Chest harness with padded shoulder straps, large GP pouch   Looking at the BFG LMAC or the Mayflower APC, and then find some plates for it..
  8.   Question is did he know what he had and how to use it..
  9. Damn, I have no mobile experience,  :-\  Sounds like a good gig..
  10. You weren't the reason why 24 was shutdown was it?   BTW, glad you are ok
  11. Their mofongo is okay, it's more of a traditional Puerto Rican food, so it's okay I guess for me. Dominicans usually don't make that so it's not a common thing for me.. Either way, there's this other place Guantanamera off Nolensville rd by the zoo, it's got a mixture of cuban, venezuelan, colombian, peru dishes..    I'll be honest, it's worth the drive to clarksville for me, except the drive back, usually stuffed from the good food..
  12. That's Jamaican food, if you want Cuban food, Back to Cuba off Harding Place going towards I65 has killer cuba food (my cuba friend approves). There's a hole in the wall (resides in a gas station on the left) on Old Hickory Blvd heading towards Nolensville road that sells Puerto Rican Food. Now, My favorite (i'm a little biased being Dominican) and if you don't mind a drive to clarksville, there's a place off tiny town road that sells Dominican Food (That's Dominican Republic, not Dominica).    Pollo Tropical is good, but it's a chain.
  13. DaveS it wasn't the Unit (101St Abn Div) per say, it was the lack of leadership, leadership that was just looking out for their own skin and not their soldiers, when the CG gets popped for 5 DUIs, CSM gets a new house, and soldiers left and right get canned, something is wrong.. BTW, the CG later became 18th ABN CG and more later on , totally skewed my willingness to stay in.  Funny how, I'm not the only one that has felt the same way about 101st..    DMark, yup Ugly Eddie.. Going from Infantry to ABN Infantry to Aviation (Leg) with no respect for unit history, didn't entice me to stay longer or even reenlist to get the hell out of there..        BTW, the .Mil was great to me and yes, I miss it, just certain aspects of it, were not fun.. Thank you all for your service..
  14. Wow, look at all the folks that are Airborne on here.. I too, have been in different units but not a combat patch: 5/87th Inf (L) Panama 82nd Airborne DIV 1/325 Airborne Infantry Regiment (The only AIR in the world) 101st Airborne DIV (Chair Assault) 1/101 Aviation (Attack) Note the patches versus the image, I hated 101st with a passion.
  15. I have some filipino friends, one of them, their family lives in Manila, so they are ok, the other I haven't talked to yet.. I really hope they can bounce back from this..

    The "Get Home" Gun

20 miles up hills, unless you are a Sherpa, that is going to kick your butt. Even when I was in panama, we usually avoided the hills unless we had to.. Route recon is useful here..    Been wondering about the AR in the trunk on a daily. how would you secure it? Same goes for an AR pistol?  I'm about to lose my truck for an smaller SUV, so I do have the ability to hide/secure/etc in it..
  17. Taser or get a day planner and insert some sort of heavy metal that you can you use to swing with to create some breathing room. baton?  at that close range, whatever you get it needs to be easily deployable..
  18. I had to send it to a coworker that always complains about the TEA Party.. I got a kick out of it..
  19. The two RIA 1911 (.45s) have never failed me, unfortunately times were tough and I had to part ways with them. I'll will pick up another 1911 in the near future.. Probably a tactical one or some other brand with a Rail and not pinned on front site post..
  20. He has the complete details on the project posted on Lightfighter.net (worth subscribing to).. I'm planning on getting a few to have around..
  21. I got a PSA upper MOE Premium kit, 10 days from time ordered till I had it in my hands. Build quality, looks fine, the receiver has a greyish tint on the inside (first true new upper). BCM would be my only other choice.. and that's what one of my lowers will be getting..   I did have to check it, the barrel is a heavier 1/7 twist  M4 profile barrel versus my other AR, DSC 1/9 twist M4 profile.. It just feels weird to have a all black AR now..

    I AM SORRY

Wow, he even stuttered to say he was sorry.. I guess the teleprompter got canned since they were willing to pay for his health insurance..
  23. Hmm, now, I'm wishing I would have grabbed two uppers as well..
  24. ITAR violation for allowing his 3d plans on to the web? Really? Geez, so all the weapons out there that you can take a look at will they be ITAR violations as well? Fkin Ridiculous..
  25. But you missed out on the Dillo Dust. Larue's secret meat rub, not that kind of meat rub, Grilling Rub..
