  1. Here in Orlando the traffic miserable. Luckily I found a condo 3.5 miles from work. Most of the people I work with commute 45 minutes or more to work. It can take 30-40 minutes to go 10 miles in Orlando. If you can find a job that's closer to your house I say go for it.
  2. 6 for my Glock 23-- 10 or so for my G19. Only 2 for the CZ(too expensive to buy for a range toy). Once I get an AR I will have at least 10 PMAGS.
  3. Very nice Mike!
  4. Did you actually watch the video? It isn't about fixing a problem. The advantages Paul describes make sense.
  5. Interesting. I don't think they would work with the Talo Grips I run on all my Glocks though. I may buy a set anyways to see how I like them. Thanks for the heads up.
  6. If you live in Hamblen county you should be able to shoot off your back porch.
  7. Not sure if anyone posted this yet or not.
  8. I bought 2 excellent mag holders from a guy on glocktalk. They are fantastic. 2 for $20. http://www.glocktalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1267097 I want a holster for my CZ 40P but I've only been able to find one person who makes them and I'm just not willing to pay $130 for a holster right now.
  9. I believed I would have tried to force in the door before shooting through it.
  10. I've never been a fan of the full size Glocks until I held a Gen 4 17. $450 is a great price.
  11. I live in a "condo". The young guys beside me like to play their Spanish jam really loud. I tried leaving a polite anonymous note on their door but I guess they figured out it was from me. Now they only give me nasty looks. Ah, the joys of living in apartments.
  12. I must be missing something. Obummer ate a dog?
  13. Bill's outpost is a great store. Great customer service backed up by competitive prices. That's how it should be.
  14. Sounds like a reasonable request. When I visit my brother and we go out on his boat I take my Glock in my Maxpedition man purse.I make sure there is not a round in the chamber. If for some reason the kids do find the gun they won't be able to shoot it unless they somehow gain the strength to chamber a round. I don't let the bag out of my sight though.
  15. While it may not have as much "soul" I think the Ruger 10/22 will be to me what the Model 60 is to you guys. I've had my 10/22 since I was around 10 years old. I will never sell it.
  16. This is a must watch video I just found on the Florida forum. Language warning--- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LONUecnsMb8
  17. The ending with Sharpton and Obama........epic.
  18. real classy. http://www.gainesville.com/article/20120412/articles/120419865?p=1&tc=pg
  19. none that I know of.
  20. Gordon, no offense but that does seem like a hard question to answer. One SR-22 may last 10k rounds and another could last 40K. If you really plan on shooting that many rounds through the Ruger I'd say you got your moneys worth. When they say the Sig will last 10-15k, does that mean the gun just stops working at that point, or falls apart, or?
  21. Apparently charges are coming. http://articles.orlandosentinel.com/2012-04-11/news/os-george-zimmerman-corey-deadline-20120411_1_sonner-and-hal-uhrig-special-prosecutor-announcement
  22. I'd love to visit Maine. Please post some pictures when you get back.
