  1. Kholster makes one for the SR9 for about $45. I have one for the SR9c, and it works great.
  2. Welcome. We come up to Callalantee several times a year to ride. That is a great place, and some beautiful country.
  3. She describes the LCR as biting more in the web of her hand. The Kahr is snappy, but a lot more controllable. She has a sore hand after only 50 rounds with the LCR. She shot a box of 40 with the Kahr and her only problem was the bottom of the slide catching her thumb. On the 380, a fellow shooter let her try his Taurus TCP. She said the recoil was nothing compared to the other two.
  4. My wife and I went out to do some shooting yesterday. It finally warmed up enough to go out and spend some time without freezing fingers. The main reason was to try out her new-to-her Kahr CW40. She has a Ruger LCR and found the recoil on the high side for her, even without +p. The CW40 seems to have less recoil than the LCR. I think she found her new favorite. We only ran one box of ammo through, but had no issues with it whatsoever. Now I need to start stocking up on another caliber.

    FNP9 for SR9c

Wow, unanimous for keeping the FNP. So what you are all saying is to just buy another gun? I like this board more every day . I will wait a little longer for the SR9c. So far, I have heard good reports, but I would like to hear more long term results. And I am looking for another holster. I hear great things about Crossbreed, so am planning to go that route. If the holster will work for both the FNP and SR9c, I would really be happy.

    FNP9 for SR9c

I really like the SR9c, but don't think I can swing buying one without selling my FNP9 first. Would a straight trade for my FNP9 with about 250 rounds through it for a new SR9c be a decent deal for both sides? I like the FNP, but it feels a little big to me for CC. It shoots tight groups and all, but the SR9c feels a little better in my hand.
  7. I went Sunday. I saw more used guns than I have at other recent shows, but nothing I would call a good deal. Not overpriced, just not cheap. I wasn't really looking for anything, so I bought a couple boxes of ammo and went home.
  8. Any reports on the show? I plan to go tomorrow.
  9. Welcome. I was in San Diego in the late 80's. I enjoyed while I was there, but felt I had to leave to raise a family. I eventually got here to TN, and am really glad I found it. It sounds like you feel the same way. This state seems to have that effect on people.
  10. I'm planning on Sunday afternoon. I have a couple commitments Saturday unless the weather is bad.
  11. I kind of stumbled into this site. It looks like there is a lot of information and good discussions. I am relatively new to the CCW world. I off road a lot and wanted something I could legally carry just to provide some measure of safety. I have seen several unsavory people out in the middle of nowhere and being able to have something with me at all times provides some peace of mind. Obviously it doesn't make up for having some sense, but if I can't get out of a situation, I have adequate defense. I have an FNP-9, which I am still breaking in. So far, I have had a couple failures to feed, but I think I can get that resolved. Otherwise, it shoots tight groups, and is pretty easy to handle. What I really need is some range time. I'm looking forward to the various topics and conversations here.
