When I was in Arizona last year I learned about their laws about reservation carry. The reservations there are no carry allowed. There were shopping centers on Indian land that had strange rules also. If you bought a gun or ammo at a Wal Mart on Indian land, the tribal police had to carry it off property and then hand it to you. And, you could not bring it back for any reason.

I am awesome. I was on track to have my build done this week, but now it will have to wait. I was tapping in the bolt catch roll pin and it broke in two. The AR looks awesome, just no bolt catch. So now I will sit back and wait for Brownells to send the $0.80 part that is holding up my build. And I ordered three of them just to make sure!

9 years ago I had a drunk driver hit me and roll my jeep cherokee. My pistol was in the center console and went flying while I was rolling. I was injured pretty badly and was surprised when a Miss State Trooper walked up to the ambulance and handed it to me without asking any questions. This was before I was a LEO.

I don't know if your rights were violated, but I find it puzzling that a "LEO" would go through so much trouble for a hunch. Why would he pick your gun out of all the guns for sale? Most people do not show their serial # when they post a weapon, so I don't see how he thought this might indicate a stolen weapon. Maybe police work is different on my side of the state..........................

I am going to send it back as soon as I decide what rail I want. I feel like they are a good company and they have called me twice to ask what I wanted to do. The main problem is that it was a telephone order, because the website is not current due to the incredible volume they are experiencing. The order was written down wrong by them, but I cannot prove this. In this situation I feel like their offer is fair. If it was a web order and they sent the wrong thing, I would expect them to pay the shipping.

I guess it is a fair offer, I'm just irritated that the order was wrong in the first place. If they offered to pay return shipping I would be completely happy, but I guess the rail installation is a pretty good deal.

No, they said they will swap it out. I won't have to pay any extra, I will just have to pay for shipping to them.

I received my upper from M&A parts this week. It came with a Railed gas block, instead of the low profile gas block I ordered to fit under my free-float rail. M&A says if I send it back on my dime, they will change out the gas block and put my rail on at no extra cost. Is it worth it to send the upper back and pay the shipping?

Good advice. The only thing I have to add is that the person that asked for the order of protection often violates it themself, when they decide that bubba has had a change of heart and can come back home.
