  1. I really want to see "No Country for Old Men."
  2. No Strickj, not yet. I am going to feel really bad if I have to. It hurts! Readyornot, they told us about those civilian tasers. They are made so you can shoot them with it and then throw it down. It keeps tasing for 30 seconds to give you time to get away, ours only tase for 5 seconds at a time. I can't imagine 30 seconds, that is long enough to think about the events in your life that brought you to that point:) The cool thing about the civilian models is that if you deploy it and a police report is made, taser will replace it for free.
  3. Yea, I just wanted someone to hold me afterward:)
  4. I have been going through the academy with a new department. Tonight was taser training. I can not describe just how much it sucked. The only good part was no lasting effects. I can say first hand that tasers are VERY effective!
  5. I agree with JayPee. Mec-gar mags are the only after-market pistol mags I would use. I believe they are OEM on berettas and sigs .

I agree about the 3913. I have a 3953 (the DAO version) and it conceals and shoots very well. I have read reviews calling it the best 3rd gen S&W semi-auto and I agree. It just feels solid.
  7. The Nova is miles ahead of the Winchester 870, but the Remington 870 is my personal favorite:) On a serious note, a Remington 870 with a 26in barrel and an 18 in barrel will handle pretty much anything you want it to.
  8. I am not a fan of these vests. I do know that Rangemaster usually has them in stock.
  9. Those are pretty sharp, metal.

    Hi!

    Welcome
  11. Were ok around Collierville. The news people on channel 3 are saying this is the worst tornado activity ever in Memphis. Everybody be careful!
  12. Yea, I wish someone else in the area had a good AR selection. I'd rather not buy from G&A. Hint Hint Classic arms:)
  13. I was in Guns and Ammo today and witnessed a classic scene. Apparently a thug had tried to buy a Quality .25 auto firearm and had been denied. I arrived during the part of the transaction where he brought his girlfriend back to purchase the same firearm. They did not understand why this would be a problem. Kudos to G&A for not selling to this dynamic duo.
  14. Welcome!
  15. Well, we have not taken my wife's car in yet to fix the tree damage from last week. I guess we can add it to the same claim if we get hit again!
  16. I still don't understand the need for the GAP

  21. So no Morrissey Junglist? Ha Ha I know I am weird:) Flyfishtn, what is your favorite, Mike Ness, Social D album? I gotta go with prison bound.
  22. Hey Darkstar, I like wilco also, Morrissey, The Smiths, REM, Black Flag, Operation Ivy, The misfits, social distortion, joy division. Is that enough?
  23. Son Volt and Uncle Tupelo right now.
  24. I have an mk-40. Great little gun. If you can find one on sale or used you might find a good deal. Good luck.
