  1. Why would you not want to wear your seatbelt? Mine saved my life April 22nd 2001, and I have seen the effects of not wearing a seatbelt. I have stopped many drivers for seatbelt violations and cited a few.
  2. I always use WWB, no problems yet.
  3. Hey Punisher, Will you buy me an EOtech?????????????
  4. I just wanted to add that SOG has great customer service. I sent them a knife with a broken clip and got back a brand new knife. Paul
  5. I would LOVE to see him do this, actually I would love to make a bet on his ability. I bet he was a Delta, Seal, Ranger, Force Recon, PJ, sniper!
  6. I agree with you rightwinger. I don't know why someone would even worry about whether an officer is on-duty while serving papers, and then talk about his no-trespassing signs. Did the deputy have his hat on?
  7. Before you guys feel sorry for this guy, you should go to glocktalk and read his post in the "coptalk" section. In this post he is seeking info on if he can sue the SHERIFF'S DEPUTY that served him with the order of protection because he has "no trespassing" signs posted on his property. I lost all sympathy for him at that point and I think other LEO's and many of the members on this board might feel the same.
  8. (Silvia Carrillo, whose daughter is a sophomore at Roosevelt High, said the shooting did not seem justified. "My son and my brother went to school here too, and nothing like this ever happened. I think this wasn't enough for him to kill the kid," she said.) I'm glad Silvia was there to give us her very important opinion based on her superb grasp of the law.
  9. I like wilsons and the kimber tac mags.
  10. 160 out of those 409 murders were in Memphis. I'm very proud!
  11. These types of people are already armed in state parks, we just want the good guys to have a chance to defend themselves. IF you are a ranger, I don't understand your opposition to the bill. From a law-enforcement perspective, I WANT the good guys to be armed. My chief even does CCW classes. Paul
  12. Welcome from right outside of Memphis.
  13. I really want to see "No Country for Old Men."
  14. No Strickj, not yet. I am going to feel really bad if I have to. It hurts! Readyornot, they told us about those civilian tasers. They are made so you can shoot them with it and then throw it down. It keeps tasing for 30 seconds to give you time to get away, ours only tase for 5 seconds at a time. I can't imagine 30 seconds, that is long enough to think about the events in your life that brought you to that point:) The cool thing about the civilian models is that if you deploy it and a police report is made, taser will replace it for free.
  15. Yea, I just wanted someone to hold me afterward:)
  16. I have been going through the academy with a new department. Tonight was taser training. I can not describe just how much it sucked. The only good part was no lasting effects. I can say first hand that tasers are VERY effective!
  17. I agree with JayPee. Mec-gar mags are the only after-market pistol mags I would use. I believe they are OEM on berettas and sigs .

I agree about the 3913. I have a 3953 (the DAO version) and it conceals and shoots very well. I have read reviews calling it the best 3rd gen S&W semi-auto and I agree. It just feels solid.
  19. The Nova is miles ahead of the Winchester 870, but the Remington 870 is my personal favorite:) On a serious note, a Remington 870 with a 26in barrel and an 18 in barrel will handle pretty much anything you want it to.
  20. I am not a fan of these vests. I do know that Rangemaster usually has them in stock.
