Hey MAN... ain't fair!! All i got was a codboad box with mine!! Love them Baers tho. Nice piece Kano...

#4 - If you have some cool Punisher grips, you MUST get a new home for them.
-
Congrats on your new piece!! The Wilson trigger and action will keep getting smoother as it breaks in. You will admire it more and more. For me, my pistol trading has almost come to a halt since getting my Les Baer and Wilson 45s. Between the two, I have not wanted for anything else. Strange feeling after 30 years of trading.

Has taken some 30 years to accumulate what I should have started with but they didn't make next level Baers and Wilsons back then. Sure am glad they do now. Read one of the post asking if a Wilson is worth the extra cash. Well, for me, once I shot one I could not believe it. The Les Baer Premier II done me the same way. If you pursue tight groups at the range (like me) or you want to dance cans at long range in the backyard (like me), you might just sell 3 pistols to buy one (like I did). It's worth it.

Just to let you know... I do not know this guy BUT he must be having to sacrifice to let go those Wilsons for that kinda price. That Colt aint bad either. AAAND a Desert Eagle .357!!!! Couldn't stand it, Had to share... http://thefiringline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=415183 If you hook up with him and do a deal on that 357, I wanna shoot it... k?

That is one Honkin' BIG barrel on that stick... Bet she groups!! -
Been reading LOTS of great things on the POF piston design... Anxious for a range report!!
-
Never heard of it... but i like it!!

I like playing with the Lucas Oil twirly gizmo at the parts store.
-
It's bad enough trying to find a folder for my Scout Squad but the price of this one makes even the EBR look affordable.

Takes a lot of getting used to a pistol scope but this old 460 Mag was VERY accurate. Consistent 2" groups @ 100 yards. Eventually sold it to a hunter with the hots for it. Real cool setup with a Leupold 2x EER. Had a strap to tote it with because a holster would be pretty bulky. Was a great long distance tool; not silly at all.

Me too. Shipping is such a pain. Lots easier to drive and meet somebody in a public place. So far, TGO meets have been some mighty nice folks. Lots more friendly than UPS folks.
-
That is worth a LOT to me cause I like not having to juggle time on the range scope to see where my last shot was. Love my .308s!!
-
This was my experience also. Not all the UPS store franchises carry the firearm shipper liability coverage and will balk. The hubs do it all but it ain't cheap. I'm also interested if they allow shiment interstate to non FFL and what they charge. Please update.

Have two rail guns, a home built Essex FrankenColt and a Wilson CQB Tactical. They both need a good light or laser. Well, the price of a quality light/laser combo is no cheap date but I busted the budget and got the SureFire X400. Supposed to be THE baddest and the mostest a civilian can get without drawing a license from the nuclear regulatory guys. As soon as I got it in, you can tell it is a quality precision piece. Without a doubt, it would do a great job. The light is BRIGHT!! Blinding would be an understatement. I'm still seeing a spot. I know, I know, only a dumba$$ would hit hisself with that light but I had to know. wow. Anyways, take my word for it... it's BRIGHT. The laser is the brightest I've EVER seen too. No, I didn't. Just seeing the red dot around the room told it all. It is a strong powerful red laser and meant to turn on with a little flick of the thumb. Way cool. All that said... put it on my Wilson and I be a monkeys uncle the thang would not fit. Thought maybe I was not doing it right and read some more. Put in the little pic rail adapter and made the fit worse. Got the FrankenColt out and it fit the same way. Gut was real tight by this time. Looking at how to make it fit was next and then I done got the red neck on why I should have to file the battery cover on a $400 accessory to make it fit a 1911. With a teary eye and a chapped axx, I returned it promptly and waiting for a refund as you read this. Soooo... Have any of you had or heard about the X400 not fitting a 1911??

Now THAT is a cool 22 rifle.

For REAL... Transmission fluid??

Hey Byrne, I like that PacLite 22/45 a whole very lot. Think you just spent some more of my money. I was considering replacing the model 41 I lost years ago but you guys done give me the Ruger itch.
-
I didn't know Colt still made the Delta 10mm. Where've I been?? By the way... You won't get any better than Clark's Customs. Had a couple early own and wished I'd held on to them when the bad times hit. It happens.
-
BUT... are you as good once as you EVER was??
-
TRUE... Wilson's test target and garawntee in a rest is 1" @25 so there's gonna be a good bit of luck involved in a free hand contest. But that's the gamble of it, right?
-
Excellent how to. THANKS!!
-
Way bunch more options for upgrading a 10-22 and they will certainly last a lifetime. Mine has.
-
That's a shame. How can a company, especially Remington, be thinking they can kickstart a new product by sending out clunkers?
-
But you would miss all the years of oohin' and aahin' at the range and the gun shops when you find something different. My latest find is the cut at the rear of the trigger gaurd above the 30lpi checkering that Wilson and some Dan Wessons do. FEELS great to me. Somehow it's countersunk to raise the checkers. Anyways, I done got excited again.... Don't start at the top. It will mess up your appreciation for what JMB started with.
