  1. Thanks for all the inputs, I really appriciate it. Epp Thescoutranch
  2. Accurate to say 30 - 40 yards? ie hit a squirrel at this range?
  3. Does anyone out there have any experience with the drop in conversion kits for the AR15s?  Good, bad or indifferant.  Recommendations of brands (and price).  Any ones to stay away from? Thanks Epp TheScoutRanch
  4. Can't explain why, but feels like a Lucy to me.
  5. Actually, just this past year, the Air Force was actively extending the A10's service life out to 2020 - 2025.
  6. If you go before a judge and jury with the defense of I did not know what the law was, or I did not know it was against the law.  You won't get very far.  How are citizens supposed to be accountable for knowing all the laws and law enforcement is not.  Just an observation.
  7. 1974 IH Travelall, with barn doors, 4x4, powered by a 6.9 idi diesel, with a 5 speed. Of course, I need another year to finish the project.
  8. I wonder how many packs of ciggerettes and six packs his mother smoked and drank when she was pregnant with him?  Any guesses?

  10. Having trouble posting pic from my tablet, I will try to work thru it
  11. Thanks for the link, it helped clear things up. Epp
  12. I picked up a numbers matching sks a couple of years ago, and inside the box was the standard accessory pack and a blue log book from what I would guess is Yogoslavia. The numbers in the book match the gun, and I am guessing it is the armory's log book. I have not seen these mentioned before. Any inputs or info would be appreciated. Epp Thescoutranch
  13. Hi, my name is Mike. What a fantastic community on this site. I am going to be up late at nights, just trying to get caught up on all the info out here. Got a late start in life on shooting, but I am really enjoying getting up to speed.
  14. Walden's is a great place to shoot. If you are going to go a lot, an annual membership is $100. I am now on my second annual membership and it is worth it. (if you go often enough). Took my Carry Class from Terrry also. Great guy.
  15. I finally got tire of searching for 380, and decided just to buy the reloading dies and reload it myself. It is a lot cheaper per round than what they are charging in the stores and online (provided you don't count the purchase of the reloader . . ). I can now let the wife shot her pistol as much as she wants or can stand.
  16. After I bought the wife a G23 for her carry gun, she decided it was too big and heavy for her, so this Christmas, I picked her up the Keltec P3AT. She loves it. I actually thought she would dislike it when we took it to the range, but I can't get her to part with it now. She ended up with one of those Michael Savage specials, gun, spare mag, clip, crimson trace laser grip all in one nice box. It was cheaper than all the parts seperately. Serial # 0087 of 5000. Never had a FTF or FTE yet. I need to get it away from her this weekend to give it another good clean and lube. Maybe when she is asleep. . . .
  17. Glock 23 and my dad's Remington 35 remington pump rifle (sentimental reasons)
  18. A buddy of mine let me shoot his Bersa Thunder ultra compact 45 on the range for a day. Really liked the performance of it and the feel. I haven't seen one in a shop yet. He ended up selling it for funds, but didn't let me know in time. Nice gun.
  19. I look at using the freeze dried goods to suppliment some of the other long term food storage items, beans, rice etc. After a couple weeks of just rice or beans, it would be a welcome change to add some of the freeze dried veggies or fruits to the meal.
  20. Since I am new to TGO, I need to post a set amount items so I can use the classifieds, but just how many post do I have to make before I am removed from your menu, when tshtf?
