  1. I think that is still slightly unclear.... You are right that you have to carry concealed in National Parks, but in states like WY and other that you can OC without a permit...not sure if you have to have a permit or not. Like what about VT that doesn't issue permits, but allows OC or CC still?
  2. I do not think WY and TN ever had written reciprocity agreement. From my understanding WY law says they will honor all other states permits if that state has simillar laws on getting a permit as WY and that is is up to the AG to determine this. So the WY AG did a review of the other 49 states and determined that only 8 meet those guidlines. So...no, as of now a TN permit is not honored in WY.
  3. It's on this website http://www.gunshows-usa.com/rkshows.htm As well as the marguee at the fairgrounds building.
  4. I thought Louisiana already honored TN permits. CT is Connecticut, right?
  5. From what I've read on one Wyoming board the AG there is not very well liked and is not very gun friendly. Some say he apparently doesn't even understand the states preemption law. However some are saying now that there is at least an offical policy in place, it can be challenged. As far as states that issue non-resident permits that WY honors it appears to be Connecticut and Massachusetts. New Hamphshire is not on the list of states in the post.

  11. Well I know enough Spanish, to know at least some of it is correct, so have no reason to doubt the rest. So I wouldn't say it is exactly the same.
  12. ¡ADVERTENCIA! (WARNING) El USO DE FUERZA MORTAL AUTORIZO (USE OF DEADLY FORCE AUTHORIZED) SEGUN (PURSUANT TO) ENMIENDA de CONSTITUCION de EEUU (UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION AMENDMENT) SI USTED ENTRA ILEGALMENTE ESTA RESIDENCIA (IF YOU UNLAWFULLY ENTER THIS RESIDENCE) USTED mayo ES DISPARO Y MATADO (YOU MAY BE SHOT AND KILLED) ESTO ES PROPIEDAD PRIVADA (THIS IS PRIVATE PROPERTY) I made the sign and I have it in MS word format. I am at work today, when I get home and get a chance I can retype it in Spanish. I got the above by using www.freetranslation.com if any speak more fluent Spanish, feel free to correct anything.
  13. Way back when, my instructor had us to do the fourth set of 12 - weak hand 6 each at 3yd and 7yd

  15. LOL...acutally I am very Pro OC. I just usually don't myself, because I want to choose when to be an ambassador or educator about carry in TN.
  16. I always took holstered to mean OC in that sign. Or if you didn't have it in a holster OCed, concealed was ok too. Who knows...the sign may have originated in a OC without a permit state.

  21. Use this link http://wapp.capitol.tn.gov/apps/BillInfo/Default.aspx?BillNumber=HB1118 then can click on HB1118 or SB1394 to see the text of the bill. No, 39-17-1321 may not apply exactly the same way, at least IMO. I am like you and note the difference in wording. But stop to think 39-17-1321 is what has allways applied to HCP holders and others. So if you get right down to it, LEOs are more restricted than us. Although it seems most on here feel 39-17-1321 could mean you can't even take a sip...but anyway. I really don't care if this passes. It's not like a LEO from the same deparment or area would have charged a fellow LEO with any of the violation of any of the restrictions in 39-17-1350© anyway.
  22. The bill removes ALL restrictions in 39-17-1350© But not sure it speically allows them to drink. 39-17-1321 would still apply to LEOs as well. As far as there being so many duplicates...it happens every session. Either more than one legislator introduces a bill, or there may be slight differences in each one. If you watch over time some get withdrawn and others move on, usually the ones that those that sponsored simillar bills feels has the best chance of passing and/or is more in line with desired end result.
