  1. +1 Bet it wasn't long that they wished they'd decided to pick us of one-by-one as we were getting off the boat.......
  2. I didn't give advice to anyone...I don't even know the person that Ebow 1 is talking about. I also never said I condone illegal activity. Just trying to correct misinformation (such as it being a felony) and give opinions on matters posted (such as many on here have stated about the intention or non-worry about committing a misdemeanor (same as carry without a permit) by carry in certain places because if they have to use it they are covered) In the meantime thank you for your evaluation of my Credibility....
  3. Perhaps his plan is not to get caught........ Just as many on here have said about carry past signs etc.... "They won't know I've got it unless I need it" and then mention the protection of 39-17-1322, well 39-17-1322 applies to 39-17-1307 as well.

  5. Not really.... A better analogy would have been driving a car without a DL. He has not taken anyone elses prorperty. Also....carry without a permit is a misdemeanor not a felony unless he is already a convicted felon.
  6. 1. Not going to touch that one... 2. Not sure if by "profile" you mean make assumptions based on apperance etc... or run a criminal back ground check, but there is nothing wrong with thinking someone is law abiding until they have done something to show they are not. 3. I think the OP meant to allow CC without a permit as well...like VT, AK and AZ
  7. Confirmed...not showing for me either.
  8. Well meeting with your elected officials (at least on the state level) is not that hard to do...
  9. Well I admit I may have assumes somethings in the OP. I for sure don't want to see TN stop issuing permits either, like VT does not issue them. But like AK or AZ would be ok. Where they do issue permits, but they are not required to carry within the state. Sort of get the best of both worlds. So while most people do say "Vermont style" carry...until all states do that (not going to happen) AK, AZ style would really be better.
  10. What? Why would they do that? As long as they are state that requires a permit to carry...then you have to have a permit to carry there? Just because you are from AK, VT or AZ doesn't mean you can carry in states that require a permit. Look at the places that honor AK permits...it some states that don't even honor TN permits, but you can carry without a permit in AK. But if you do get a permit you have to meet certain requirments, just like you would in if you still got a permit from TN. That being said....it has no chance of passing in TN
  11. Unlike most other subjects, you can't post an OC story on here without it turning into at the least an OC v CC thread...and more likely anti-OC thread.
  12. Me either...was looking and looking...
  13. Keep us updated...my iPhone 4 supposed to be in about mid-July. Figure there is a big learning curve coming. Oh...and if you haven't seen it... http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/tn-gun-owners-announcements/41838-tennessee-gun-owners-now-provides-support-mobile-phone-users-via-tapatalk.html#post549295
  14. Took mine in '97 and it seems like the 3, 7 and 15 is what we did, but I'm not 100% sure. I do remember for the 12 rounds of instructors choice it was 6 rounds with your weak hand at the two closest lines.
  15. Well see...that's the trouble... Most state building are marked with some type of posting. So if 39-17-1359 had required exact wording for a sign...and then said ONLY a sign with that wording was a valid posting....all state buidlings (that wanted to post) would have had to post new signs, therefore costing money.
  16. I agree that it may be broader than just the owner. I had another thread where I asked if a person could carry on another person's property with the property owner's permission if they didnt' have a HCP. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/handgun-carry-self-defense/40878-if-you-have-permission-property-owner-do-you-need-handgun-carry-permit.html There wasn't much discussion and no one seemed to know for sure....
  17. Sounds like you need to go to better places. Seems like most on here have noted about being well dressed while OCing...
  18. Oh I can see where they would be handy....I'm just not that close to one let alone several apparently...lol
  19. Well pre-ordered an iPhone 4 yesterday. Of course I missed the first round, so it shows it won't ship until July 14...
  20. I think most of the time when those that OC says "no one saw/noticed" the weapon...they don't necessarily mean that no one literally observed it. Just that no big deal was made of it....
  21. The law says they are supposed to be posted with a notice that they are a federal buidling. When I went to Big Bend National Park in TX this April, the vistors center there did have such a sign.
