  1. Those do look fun. I like scenarios too. Put's a little story to the action.
  2. Oh I had that bad boy built the day I got the email. That reminds me I still have to put up some pics.
  3. Right you are! I gave them a call and oddly enough he told me to email them rather than him just fixing it haha.
  4. So will the ATF mail me an original stamped copy or is what they emailed me all I get? The emailed PDF has DRAFT watermarked across it.
  5. I'll have to say the air soft looks pretty awesome. Not very expensive either and they seem to have been molded exactly like the real thing.
  6. That sounds dangerously close to ANOTHER hobby. :pleased:  I guess I could lump them together though.
  7. I'm basically looking for something I can holster in my EDC holster as well as competition holster. I want to be able to draw and fire as well as transition between targets while dry firing. Do air soft versions have an auto reset like that? I've handled some of them but never a Glock clone.
  8. I may do that eventually but at $75 I may give this a shot. I just like the fact that it is used in the actual gun I shoot. I'm gonna look at more reviews of these if I can find them.
  9. All these .22 posts are making me want to break mine out again!
  10. Has anyone used one of these?   http://dryfiremag.com/index.html   I am wanting a cheaper way to practice dry firing without spending the bucks on a SIRT. Seems like this would be a good option. You don't get the laser but I don't know that I want that anyways.
  11. You know I feel the same way on one hand but on the other hand the arrogance of that guy and others on the matter just pisses me off. I can't say I am in the situation or have the resources to be the test case but I dang sure hope someone has the balls to tell them to go fly a kite.   Frankly I think we all have cause to be "offended" by it. How is it that people walk on eggshells around the issues of gay whatever, or civil rights (not belittling those), but when it comes to 2A rights no one worries about saying "nope not in my house." Especially when it isn't even their house!
  12. I love how these guys are basically saying that they don't care about what the laws say. They think they can do whatever they want.
  13. Yep. Nice to have that on the books now.
  14. I don't disagree with you. Anything can happen but that's what the ranges have insurance for.
  15. Got approved today finally! Filed April 17th.
  16. Maybe someone who is a member at Gallatin gun club can help set something up. I'm on the waiting list but I have another couple of years haha. Not sure what there policy is on something like that but the rifle range and trap area looked really nice.
  17. Man that was fun last night. My wife officially has no interest in shooting it :pleased: but she enjoyed watching. Very nice and challenging stages especially for an indoor match with limited setup time.   My only was mistake was thinking a Glock was reliable.......and shooting the no shoots.
  18. Just dawned on me what those initials stood for. I'd just wonder how much supervision they would require over there. Not bad mouthing the place or anything because they do try to keep you safe but I don't know that i'd enjoy a day of someone standing over us the whole time. Be worth a shot though if you know a guy. Doesn't seem like that side is ever in use when I go.
  19. I downloaded it on my "Test" PC at work today in about 30 minutes with no issues. I just got a new PC at work with 8.1 and I can't wait to upgrade. Oddly enough the update was pushed to the old computer running 7 this morning but still hasn't made it to my newer PC. Both were "reserved" on the same day.
  20. I read something about it somewhere online at some point......but I can't remember where. :pleased:  Seemed like it was OK stuff though based on the review. I'll keep looking for the page.
  21. Maybe we should talk to TGODavid about getting "pokes" enabled on here.  I also no longer have a facebook and haven't for a while now but I got on in 2005 when I started college. I remember when getting a poke was a big deal.
  22. Good luck. STILL waiting on mine. I guess mine got put in the busy stack or something.
  23. Plenty of folks drive out there to shoot IDPA so you never know. I'd come.
  24. I agree but being newish to the Lebanon area I haven't met any friends with shooting land yet. I'll have a small berm soon but nothing I'd be comfortable having a big gathering with. If nothing else we could get together somewhere for a skeet shoot.   Shotguns are guns too. :pleased:
