  1. I've been told you can push them pretty fast for a lead cast bullet.Just wondering if anybody else here is using the 38's.I got 500 to try, really good looking bullets!Very nice people to deal with too!

When you go in to a gun shop to buy a firearm , do most of them negotiate on the price or are they pretty firm?I was in a certain shop a few days ago trying to buy a pistol, and they were really hard to work with. Acted like they didn't care if I bought at all.Which I didn't , I went elsewhere.

  9. I shoot mostly 38's with 158 lead cast bullets. I do load 357's with jacketed 125 and 158 grain bullets.I have some 357's loaded with 15 grains of H110 and a 158 grain bullet.Thats a load in one of my books.I just want the best pistol that will hold up.
  10. The Blackhawk is what I'm leaning towards, the adj. sights are a plus too.

  16. I'm wanting to get one of the 2 in a 357 mag. If anybody has one does the Vaquero shoot high ,low or on the money? Like the fixed sights I f they shoot dead on.Wanting a 5.5 in. Barrel. Any suggestions?
  17. Found a guy that says he has a Uberti, says it's made in Germany on it.Is that correct?Also say he thinks it a cattleman, will it be stamped on it?

  20. I have 30 06,308,243,30-30,7.62x54R,6.5x55 Swede.For deer I've always like 30-06.Killed my first deer with a 35 Remington Model 141 pump.
  21. Yep, guess I'll stock up on some more 158 grain SWC bullets to load.
  22. The safety on top don't really bother me, you can get a plug for them. 357's are REALLY hard to find. especially used.

  24. To y'all that have Rossi 357 rifles, do you know anything about the newer Rossi/ Taurus rifles that have the lock in the back of the hammer? Are these just as good as the older ones? I have a 16" rifle and a Ranch Hand.I was thinking about selling or trading the RH and getting another Rossi rifle in 357. Just don't like the lock in the hammer.
