1. I have and they are awesome!
2. Here is my custom recipe in the secondary. Named it "Klauwplatt Belgian Ale"
3. I have brewed another 5 gal batch. 1. cause the wife didn't much like the hefeweizen 2. I like brewing and 3. I'm nearly out of the first batch :) I brewed midwest supplies "american light" 20min boil kit this time, its bottled and will be ready next week. I have also brewed a one gallon batch of my own recipe. Has been in the primary since Saturday. Hoping its similar to a Bluemoon or Shocktop
4. Best birth control we've found is a picture of each of the kids on the nightstand
5. Well it's finished, I drank a few this weekend. One week in the primary, one week in the secondary and 2 weeks in the bottle. It tastes GREAT. A hint of banana aroma, with hint of citrus taste and a crisp finish. I will definitely be brewing this one again. "Hanks Hefeweizen" from midwest supplies. 6. no one ever picked up one of my calls but have heard other conversations that were more like a three way call or "party line"
7. Bottled Saturday
8. I'm a building inspector for the city of Sevierville and any new or remodeling of this type must come through my office. So its more than a rumor. They went through the process of getting the property rezoned so the range could be there and are set to close on the building that houses Coleman and is next door to SMKW.
9. I have a 2005 Colorado LS Z71 4dr. The only issues I have ever had with the truck was electrical. The instrument lights flicker at times and the 3rd brake light, after some time will leak like a sieve but I just put a new gasket and it fixes it for a time. It has the I5 engine and for my use pulling what only should be pulled by a midsize truck it does well. Gas mileage is meager at best. I have gotten as much as 24mpg but regularly get 18. The TBI gets gummed up but is an easy enough maintenance type of fix. All in all I love my truck. I have owned Chevrolets my whole life starting with my first one at 15, 1980 2wd stepside (275,000m), in 1995 I bought my WT1500 (180,000m) and now my 05. I am proud to say I'm nearly 41 and those are the only vehicles I've personally owned. Well now I also have a 95 Toyota Tercel (197,000m) lovingly called the turtle that I drive only because it gets around 36mpg. :)
10. Just double checked, Sevierville is 9.75%, 7% to TN 1.5 to Sevier County schools and 1.25 to the City
11. as I understand it that is the one drawback we will have to pay tax now that they are in Tennessee also
12. I am happy to announce that, as long as the deal doesn't implode, budsgunshop.com is coming to Sevierville. It will feature several indoor shooting ranges equipped to handle all pistol calibers and most if not all rifle calibers and I believe I understood him to say a tactical rifle/pistol range. It will also feature a large retail area and classrooms to teach anything from HCP classes to defensive tactics . The developers are also working to get a food vendor, such as firehouse subs or similar to set up shop there too. It was presented to me as "manland" a place to come to hang out even if you are not buying or using the range. The conceptional drawings looked awesome! It will be in an existing building close to Smoky Mountain Knife Works.
13. I have wondered the exact same thing myself. If you find out let me know.
14. Darker than I had hoped, but have been told it will lighten up as the process continues. I racked it Saturday so hopefully will be bottling this coming Saturday. I had a few local bars keep some bottles for me and I ended up with a bunch. I have found that I really like the Dos Equis bottles as hey are easy to remove the labels and once they are clean they have no indication that they are a commercial bottle, plus I'm a huge fan of the green color. I have actually made my request to the same places for just those bottles but looks like I'm going to have to use the others I acquired :( I suppose that beggars can't be choosers though :)
15.    Thank you sir! I think this would be great!
16. Update: I built my own wort cooler, primary fermenter and bottling bucket and so far the whole process has been very addictive. My 5gal setup is doing pretty well. Very little spillage. I rigged up a blow off tube and it seems to have helped a lot with the spillage by allowing the krausen to spill out through the tube. I have an active fermentation going and all seems well. 17. Im making a 5gal batch. A few questions from a first timer. 1. I used a food grade 5gal bucket for my primary, have I messed up due to lack of headspace? 2. What is a "blow off" tube and should I use it instead of airlock on my primary due to the lack of headspace? 3. Is it normal for the wort/mash to be much darker than the finished product?
18. It will differ with different municipalities. Your local governing body may have had adopted some version of the  I-codes at that time or like us may have been still in the '99 standard building code. We adopted the 2006 International Codes somewhere around 2009/2010 and per that, the walls of an unfinished/unconditioned crawlspace need only to be R-10.
19. As a building inspector I agree. To meet the energy code you can insulate the floor with not less than R-19 or the foundation walls, provided that all openings are sealed.
20. My dad, brother and I were in a somewhat similar situation other than the fact that my paternal grandmother had passed. The land was in her name, but my dad's sister, her husband and my first cousin were living on the property. We paid 2/3 appraisal value to my dad's sister and brother. Then did a quit claim deed and gave my aunt and uncle life time estate on the property but not my cousin. The three are not the most law abiding citizens and we were concerned, especially with my cousin, about drugs and legal issues, however I believe that they are only considered "tenants" and what they do is on them even though we own the property, much like if you are a landlord of an apartment and they are caught cultivating pot in the bedrooms. As stated above though seek an attorney that is well versed in real estate law. Good luck brother I feel your family grief.
21. This will be my very first attempt, so, good or bad, I'll keep y'all updated!
22. It's here!
