  1. I just saw this in my Facebook feed. I assumed it's because of his "shooting people" rant a few years back. I like TGO and I like James. So I'm neutral here but just passing it along.
  2. I'm curious if the 4 that didn't penetrate came from the same pistol.
  3. I would've just pulled the plug wires...
  4. I'd like to think I'm well rounded. I can build about anything from wood. Electrical, plumbing and have dabbled in solar. Mechanical minded and can operate just about any piece of machinery out there. I've never been in a real fight but I'm 6, 3" and 255 and I think I'd hold my own when hand to hand with the general population. I have excellent verbal skills (which doesn't translate to writing skill). So if I were to encounter a skeptical threat then I would most likely be able to change their mind about me or even manipulate them (if need be) to escape/survive.
  5. I'd go with what is on the door placard if the tires are the same size as stock. Also the max pressure rating on a tire is nowhere near where it will just blow up. Actually most tires will hold up to 300+ psi before they just explode. Crazy!
  6. I wonder how you'd crack an egg that big... [emoji14]
  7. If I make a deal we may make a deal.
  8. I'm not sure. It's an FX4. I believe a 2013. It looks to some people that it has a big suspension lift but it doesn't. The truck itself is sitting on a good size log so there is no pressure on the suspension, making it look like it's taller.
  9. It's got what look to be 35's on some really nice wheels. The body panels and tailgate and bumper/hitch and maybe some drivetrain/suspension parts may be salvageable. The bed is in good shape. No dents just mud. I figure they will want too much but who knows?
  10. The owner is going to put me in touch with the insurance company to see if I can even make a deal to buy it.
  11. When I got I touch with him I just had to ask. He said it was part of a bit from an oil rig he worked on for years. I never would have guessed.
  12. Ok after some research I have found the owner owner on Facebook. It happened in December. Just Just a dumb mistake. It went down the ramp when the water was up just enough to wash it down. He said insurance did replace it so they own it now. He said at the time that the fire/rescue said they would just leave it in the river as is for training soon. I am going to try to see if I can make a deal afterwards to remove it. The insurance company I'm sure would rather let someone have it to move than pay to have it recovered. I have the equipment to get it out of there. Oh and the Keychain is some sort of bit from a drilling rig that he worked on and I am going to meet him soon to give it to him. He had just over here from Louisiana when it happened and lives in Spring Hill now. He said it had 40,000 miles on it.
  13. I found the company on Facebook. Out of Louisiana. They make guess what.....? Waders. Of all things.
  14. Can anyone explain the decal on the side that says "Aquaphobics"? It just seems too ironic. The sticker seems to have been on it a while. It was under the mud that I had to wash off. It's just weird a truck sitting in the river has a sticker on the side of the definition of being afraid of water.
  15. I went up to it and looked around. Here's some pics. This thing has like 22 or 24 inch aftermarket wheels under the water. It looks to have been a woman's truck. Lots of woman things inside. The keys were laying in a clump of mud on the edge of the door about to fall out. There is an odd thing on the end of the lanyard. Anyone know what it is? I didn't think to lift the tailgate to see a tag. I find it funny the decal says Aquaphobics. It don't get more aqua than that.
  16. I came across a truck in the river in Columbia last weekend. I remember seeing something about in paper back around January. It rolled down the boat ramp and got washed down river about 1/4 mile. It's not visible from the ramp. But it's been there a couple months and is in ruins. I guess they've just left it because it's not in a good place to get to it to pull it out. I am gonna be kayaking later in the area and am gonna take a closer look at this "island". Never know what you'll find in the river.
  17. This exactly. I carry in my OTR truck all week except if I'm going to the Northeast which is rare.
  18. Here's a video I saw on Facebook. Probably too much thinking involved but it is interesting. https://youtu.be/ZMdFrhHOYdY
  19. That is him! I swear he looked familiar because I Googled what the real people looked like a while ago.
  20. I eager to see what her and Morgan will be up to.
  21. I have also thought that maybe it's not even written who dies yet. Could the cliffhanger have bought some time for them? Unlikely though possible.
