  1. I have no idea why it makes me so mad. But I keep on reading to see who believes it. My favorites are the ones where some little girl with cancer is gonna die and for every "like" Zuckerberg is gonna donate 14 bajillion dollars to save her.
  2. There is a "click bait" ad going around Facebook saying that the winners are giving away money if they "like and share". It amazes me how stupid people are. I don't know why I let it bother me. I was even reading some of the comments on different news stories about the winners and people are begging for money and putting up their sob stories. Rediculous.
  3. I apologize. I got this confused with the Bowie thread.[emoji14]
  4. I posted on the other thread but oh well. I would right off the bat give money to friends and family. I would try to convince my 2 lifelong friends with a few million a piece to leave their jobs because who wants to be rich alone? I would concentrate on an underground bunker that can hold 20 or so people. It would be huge and would have storage for food, guns and ammo, medical supplies and so on. I would find some smart young Asian kid and send him to med school to have as backup in the bunker for our doc/surgeon. I would shoot, shoot, shoot everyday and build elaborate ranges and scenarios. I'd be getting .223 and 9mm delivered by the pallet. And I'd probably go all out and buy a lifelong benefactor membership on TGO.[emoji14]
  5. Do banks recognize it as currency now? I'm really asking.
  6. I would buy about 500 acres not far from where I live now and have the most awesome underground bunker you'd ever seen. I would rent the machinery and do all the digging myself just because it's fun. I would have room to sustain 20 or so people underground for as long as I could. About 300 feet from there would be my modest 3,000 square foot home with an underground tunnel connecting the two. I would just shoot all day. I would just hire someone full time to load mags for me. When my AR gets dirty or malfunctions I'd just toss it and grab another off the shelf.
  7. That should do it right there ; )
  8. I hope to get back into "prepping" with the purchase of practical pieces. My goal this year: 2 Glock 17's, 1 or 2 more .22lr rifles and a barrel action .308 700 to build. Oh and work on my .223 ammo cache.
  9. I hope to get my first can this year. The rifle I'm going to use is my Savage FV-SR .22lr. I'd like to go with a Silencerco Sparrow. This is a pretty sweet little gun. It has a 16.5" barrel so even with a can on the end it doesn't look so long. I can't wait to get the ball rolling. Twang n' Bang does a good video on this gun with a silencer. Kind of off topic but I just did a cheap paint job on the factory stock with krylon fusion and a couple coats of matte clear coat. I plan to order a Boyd's stock soon so I wasn't worried about messing this one up. I think it turned out ok. Before (with my oldest taking a shot off the "bench") Now
  10. I'm part of a Jeep club based in Columbia called "Mule Town Jeepers". We have members from all over middle TN. We have members with stock rides all the way up to full blown crawlers. Look us up on Facebook. Congrats on the new ride. Welcome to the "club".
  11. I watch Hickok45 often but not as much as I check in on Yeager's channel. He's one of the last gun channels I would have thought would be taken down. I believe his own website would be successful with his following. Hopefully it will be resolved. If not, hopefully he has all of his content backed up.
  12. I have the "Big Buddy" dual burner. I love this heater. I mostly run it off a 20# tank. I don't know how long it burns on that tank but it's at least 28 or 30 hours. I have a huge tent (12 person) and I've used it in there on a 30° night last fall. I put it on a block so it's not on the floor and I peeled open the rain fly a bit for venting. I also have a battery powered carbon monoxide alarm I use when the heater is on. Keeps it toasty.
  13. Well damn. I live in Columbia and went to school in Lewisburg. I don't agree. I love it here.
  14. This is true. I've done 1 of the HD dishes. You do it the same way but it has to be more precise when "hitting the spot."
  15. Because some installations DirecTV needs not to know about..
  16. You don't need all that equipment. I drive a truck and used to carry a dish with me and would stop and put my dish out on the mirror of my truck and watch it every night. Just open the signal meter menu on the receiver and point it southwest. There several degrees of play where it will still work. Every night I would get a 95% or better signal just in a couple mins of moving it around. I even mounted at spare on my parent's house and it's done fine for years. Not hard to do at all my friend.
  17. I love Tapatalk. The only time I ever go to the TGO url is to renew my benefactor membership.
  18. I have to admit this is a little strange... https://youtu.be/p4xw4t0orFU
  19. Do I fly..? Psh.. Me and my dad have been flying for years. He started in 1990. This is a portion of his "fleet". I haven't heard of this new rule but he may have. I'll show him this tonight.
  20. I've been subscribed to him for a couple years now. What a shot!
