My fiance and i went to an annual carnival in Columbia this weekend and her and i decided to ride the ride that you lay on your belly in a "hang-glidding" position and it flies you around in circles. But anyway, as I layed down on it waiting to strap in, the ride operator came over and asked "does that thing have a safety?". I was lost for a second and realized my shirt has ridden up a little as I lay there stretched out. Me not really thinking, I just said "yeah it's a Glock". He kinda just tilted his head and said....ok... I guess I am just so used to talking to my gun buddies and coworkers that I just assumed that the carny new how a glock works. I felt kinda dumb. I've been kayak fishing off and on for about 5 years. It's nice to be able to go where my boat can't. I have a Heritage 11' Feather lite. It has a rod holder and drink holders and things that make it a little more comfortable. I've got two other kayaks bit this one is the only one I fish from. I took a pic finally of the 34 and 22. The 34 has a slide on scope mount with a red dot. Not very practical when set up like this but it's fun. The 22 is my duty weapon. It's a Gen 3 and stock except an extended slide release and tritium/fiber optic sights. It stays in a level lll Blackhawk. She keeps her gun out. It's easily accessible to her at all times. She keeps it hid so that if someone were to break in, they would never find it. I am still working with her on a home defense scenario. I bought her a Glock 26 and while at home she has a 33 rounder full of Gold Dot's. I have had a big safe for a few years now. I prefer the old fashion spin dial over the keypads. I can almost unlock it in the dark in under 20 seconds. Anyway, my fiance just mentioned the other day while I was doing "inventory" that she did not know the combination. I kinda just changed the topic and she hasn't said anything else about it. I can tell it's not really a big deal to her. Some of her jewelry is stored in there that she doesn't wear. I think once we are married in September I may just show her. I feel kinda bad her not knowing but.... Just wondering how many of your wives or girlfriends can access your safe.

My ex girlfriend lived in Leipers Fork and there are some old antique shops in "town" and one day we saw the van from American Pickers parked at one so we stopped and went in and I got to meet Mike Wolfe. I was wearing a Harley Davidson hat and him being a bike nut, I got him to autograph it. It turns out he is good friends with the shop owner and she buys things that they had picked on the show. It was neat to see some items in the store that I had seen them haggle for on the show. He bought a house there so you can go there now and see him out every once and a while.

I have been on TGO using Tapatalk for months but I try to find it on Tapatalk now and it will not find it. Is anyone else having this problem. It was after updating to "Tapatalk 2"
