1. That looks good!
2. Sorry that wasn't funny.
3. Great story! Way to represent the true sportsmans name. We need more stories like this! You really have inspired me.
4. Just be careful when using a guide service. Make sure you read all the fine print. I want to do a bear hunt but I want a place that at least refunds some of the money. I don't want some jacked up outfitter charge me way to much only to strike out (because of them) and not get my money back.
5. He just wanted a girlfriend........
6. Seen this on another hunting forum so I figured I would share it.   http://youtu.be/YDFiy2Pn78E
7. Nice deer Dave! I haven't even seen my big deer lately. Not sure if they are still kicking or have retreated to the protected land that borders my hunting property. Either way I've had a great season. Got to see one of my best friends get his first deer and another buddies son shot a doe with me. Still a lot of hunting left so you never know. I plan on taking some more first time hunters so hopefully they will get a deer as well. The property I shot that 8 on there is a bigger buck. My mom seen him a couple of days ago in the field. Just got to get some time off of work and head down there. Good luck to everyone!!!
8. I do wish the season would go a little longer.
9.
Why? I deer hunt with a centerfire. Not trying to be a smart a$$; just not following you.
During gun season we have to wear blaze orange for safety. Imagine how hard it would be to hunt turkeys in 500 square inches of orange. Those birds can see you blink lol. It's gonna be about safety.
10. I've been field dressing, skinning deer and processing since I was 9 years old. I grew up out in the country and it was taught to me. I am always looking for ways to improve or heck get some good pointers. For 12 bucks its worth watching to me.
11. I see no reason to delete it. I may look into that video. Its made by the Dept of game and fisheries so its probably a good how to video.
12. Very nice!!!

Lol
14. I have a pit on my land and that's where I put them after all the skinning and everything is done. It keeps the coyotes in the area until I'm ready to meet them.
15. Good luck and be careful. Meth can make people do some really crazy things. I know I deal with them on a daily basis in my line of work.
16. My step-dad killed a white 6 pointer many many many years ago. He said he new it wasn't an albino due to it's black eyes and it had a couple of spots on it's back legs. True albinos will be solid white and have pink colored eyes. The residents can get upset if they want but the hunter broke no laws. KahrMan is right that deer is a piebald deer. As long as it's not a true albino deer I will shoot it.
17.
I would notify the TWRA for sure. That's not normal.
Unfortunately it is becoming normal. I'm seeing a lot of hunters who have no idea what the values of hunting mean. I seen 5 deer dumped on a dead end street. Back straps and antlers cut off. The rest thrown as close to the woods as they could get them. No respect in my opinion. I would contact the TWRA anyway.
18. Could be poaching but someone could have just cut the back straps and head off then dumped the carcass. I see it all the time and makes me sick. I always take as much meat as I can from the harvest. Might sound weird but I feel like I owe it to the animal not to waste it.
19. Thanks everyone. He's not my biggest 8 ever but he was a good one. Here's a pic of my friend Kevin's first deer. He was shooting a Weatherby Vanguard 7mm Rem Mag. A pic of were we where and the deer. As you can see it was a close shot. We were actually standing in the trail whispering our next game plan when he came down the ridge. I would say maybe around a 30 yard shot. He never had a clue we were even standing there. Oh and don't get jealous on my artistic skills lol.
20. Great job!!!!
21. If he hadn't grunted than it would be a pic of a big doe lol.
22. Got a chance to go out on my families land in Perry County this weekend. Got to hunt for 3 whole days. A buddy of mine killed his first deer a 3 pointer. He was a happy camper! I had been seeing some does and decided to pass on them. This morning I went out (last day) and decided I would take a doe if it came through. I sat watching a big hillside and seen three does going across it. I was about to shoot the biggest one, when I heard a buck grunting. I waited for a minute or 2 and here he came. I seen he had antlers and that was good enough for me. I let the Browning BAR 30-06 ring out in the holler and down he went. I thought he was a really nice 6 but after ground checking it, he turned out to be a nice 8 pointer.
