The last 2 years during hunting season I've passed up a lot of nice young bucks looking for a really big mature one. But after being told I have stage 3 kidney disease I decided to enjoy this years deer season. I told myself I was going to just go hunt and enjoy life and not worry about anything while in the woods. So today I did just that and harvested this beautiful wide 6 pointer with my CVA Muzzleloader pistol. Hunting isn't always about who can kill the biggest deer. Enjoy the hunt because you never know what life can deal you. P.S the bibs are from my fatter days .

Tagged birds in Tennessee, Wyoming, South Dakota and Nebraska. Called in 18 birds to their death this year for me and other people. Blessed season! Osceola next year to finish my slam.

Second time hunting Maine and I finally got my first bear. 33 yard shot with my Smith and Wesson 460xvr using Federal 260 grain Fusions. Full pass through. The sow made it maybe 10 yards. Weighed between 150 to 170lbs. Couldn't have been happier.

Easterns

Had an awesome season. 4 birds in TN and 2 in Texas.

Killed these 2 Rio Grande Turkeys in 2 days. My first ever Rios. Fun times in Texas.

Daughter and I are headed to Texas this week for some Rios.

Daughter got one opening day of Juvenile season. Me and my buddy got one each hunting together opening day. Got a double beard today and called up one for another buddy. So far I've called in or helped call in 5 birds to the flop.

That .410 with TSS will flat out crush them.

Got it done Saturday morning. We got in all on film.

I use Cripple Creek Taxidermy. Jamie Moorehead is a great guy who does awsome work. Hes in Murfreesboro.

Indian Creek or Jebs. Im partial to Indian Creek. Their Turkey chokes are awesome so I figure their waterfowl chokes are just as good.

Well my dad got it done this morning. His crossbow messed up so he has been taking mine. No hunting for me but im okay with it. He had an opportunity at a big buck but he forgot to set the stock to fit him. Once he got it right the deer spooked. But this 8 pointer stayed around and he wasn't going to pass him up. Its my dads biggest buck and first ever velvet. Unfortunately within an hour of waiting to go look the coyotes ate him up pretty dang good. Either way it will make for a nice mount and story.

My bucks have been been constantly coming to 1 area. Last 4 days they seem to have disappeared or moving way before daylight. Tomorrow morning is the last day for my dad to get one before heading back to Michigan. Wish him luck!
