  2. Well it may be good but it sure looks like BLEEP!
  3. Happy Mothers day!
  4. I zeroed it at 1 inch high at 50 yards yards.
  5. If you want we could meet somewhere and you could look at my Nikon Coyote special if you wanted damn good scope.
  6. Nice thunder chicken!
  7. I have a Double Star AR with 20 inch heavy barrel.
  8. I'm not crazy but phil my other personality.....well he is crazy.
  9. Don't know about a reload round but I use winchester silver ballistic tips 55gr.
  10. Can't win them all, except if you where me and I also don't lie
  11. During the big game off seasons just take up coyote hunting, thats what gets me through the summer LOL!
  12. Yeah I hope I get him he is a real nice bird. Only seen 1 hen this afternoon and didn't even hear any gobbling.
  13. Went to Westmoreland this morning. Wind was blowing like crazy. Had one come in to 80 yards and he is the real nice bird I have been trying to get, but he didn't get that big for being stupid. He wouldn't get any closer but oh well. I do have to say he is one of the most prettiest birds I have ever seen. His fan is huge and the tips of the fan feathers are a pretty yellow color and his head is bright blue. Going to hunt him every weekend until the season closes. I am going to set up on a new location and try and get him as he is coming into the field. I hope I get him so I can show him off not to bragg but to show everyone how beautiful he is. I almost hate to take him but I guess I will get over that LOL! Well I am off to the woods to do a little calling hopefully I won't get blowed away.
  14. I don't mind taking a hen but she would have to have a really good beard. I've seen people kill hens with 8 plus inch beards.
  15. State law only states that a bearded turkey may be taken. Hens can sometimes have a beard and therefore are legal to shoot (Only if they have a beard). They do have an either sex hunt in the fall which you can kill a tom or hen. Statewide Spring Turkey Season April 3 - May 16, 2010 Bag Limits One (1) bearded turkey per day, not to exceed four (4) per season. Turkeys taken on all quota hunts and specially designated WMAs are bonus turkeys.
  16. I went and seen at the IMAX theater and it was awesome. I need to get me a blu ray player.
  17. It should pattern well if it has a full choke.
  18. Nice bird Mike.
  19. +1
  20. I would try the #6 shot and see how it will pattern. Does it have interchangable chokes? 21. Yeah once you shoot a blow up decoy it's pretty much gone. You could always patch it but would look funny with a bunch of rubber intertube patches all over it.
  22. Like I said you can't eat the feathers...well i'm sure someone has tried . I remember I accidentally shot one of my decoys. 4 or 5 years ago I had a big tom come in double beard one was 12 inches and the other was about 5 inches and 1 1/2 inch spurs weighed 23 pounds my best bird I have ever killed. He came and walked right up to my hen decoy and I had tunnel vision I pulled the trigger and killed the tom and decoy. It was a blow up decoy at that. I use a blow up hen decoy now and a rubber jake decoy. I guess I might be more carefull well unless I get a shot on another great bird. Even though you didn't get him it was still pretty damn awesome video!
  23. Good luck! I am going this week sometime. I am going to try and hold off for a really good one since I only have 2 tags left. I have seen a few in the areas I hunt that had 9 inch beards or bigger. Seen one 2 weeks ago that looked like he had a 11 or 12 inch beard but it was a thin beard.
  24. Yeah mine had missing feathers all over it's stomach. When he started to come in I could see a spot on him and couldn't figure out what it was. He got in around 30 yards then that spot turned out to be were he was missing some feathers. Overall he looked rough he wouldn't have won any beauty contests.
  25. Thanks but it wasn't the prettiest bird I have ever taken. Good thing is you don't have to eat the feathers lol! I took the turkey breasts to a place here in Murfreesboro called Slick Pig and they are going to smoke it for me for a small fee. Can't wait to get it back tomorrow. If it tastes as good as there other food then I will be in turkey heaven.
