  1. I can't wait for the Lions Green Bay game!!!!! It should be a great one.
  2. Lions on MNF, this is a great day for all of us Lions fans.
  3. I have had the same results with mine. I love it, it is the most accurate rifle I own. I got the ATI stock for mine. My max distance I have tried with is 75yds with iron sights and ran 200 rounds had a 1/2 dollar grouping. I cant wait to put optics on it.
  4. Air horns work great the dog stops in its tracks and will let people around you know something is up, or a item called direct stop works even better than pepper spray. I have seen both ways used and it is remarkable how well they work.
  5. The guys at Bills Outpost (both locations) are great and super helpful. they just ordered some sights for me and they sold them to me for $10 each less than I could even find on the net before shipping. They actually try to earn and keep your business. They best part is they don't think they know everything so they listen to you when you talk to them. A place to give a second chance to is CCA, they have cleaned it up and got in some new staff. The prices are still a little high but they are starting to come down on that, new stock coming in seems to be fairly priced.
  6. Sorry about the scope, I had someone mount it just for the pic and I was not there and did not look close before I posted. It is a BSA but it is not for sale, I love the eye relief on it.
  7. I think this will prove not to be a fluke year, Shwartz is a good coach. have been a fan and ticket holder for over 30 years. There is always room for one more Lions fan.
  8. Lions 4-0, great day to be a Lions fan!!!!!
  9. I have done the same thing. I will never "sleep on it" again.
  10. It is a good day to be a Lions fan. I have suffered for a long time but it looks like they have turned things around. Go Lions!!!!!!

    Mr. Mom?

I am a stay at home dad, I put in too many hours at my job so in the best interest of the family I now stay home. I have a 1yr old daughter and my son is coming any day. I am all for starting a club. Any dads in the Knox area just let me know and we can do something with the kids. Can't go to the range yet, they are still to young, lol.
  12. I own one and even thugh it is ugly and heavy, it is the only gun I own that I have had no trouble with it at all. I bought it used and tried to abuse it and it kept going. I have put close to 3000 rounds down it and still goes boom every time. If you get it and don't like it I will give you your 100 back. I could use one for the work shop.
  13. Does it have to be expensive or just cool. I have a custom nagant that gets all kinds of attention.
  14. Jonnin the stretch factor is minamal, I made belt for a friend a while ago and he said it still fits great and with all of the buckle options out there pulling the belt a little tighter would be easy. I hung the sling up with 20 pounds hanging from it for a couple of weeks to test that as well. It needed no adjustment, I guess the magic of paracord prevails again. I will work on the photo, I will have to wait until my wife has the baby for the attractive female photo.
  15. Do you think belts would sell better, I can price them way better because the hardware is cheap.
  16. Plainsman- I agree on the economy being an issue, but what does not make sense to me is that I tried to sell them at material cost of $20 to get the word out and no one bought any but at the shows the guy selling bracelets for $15 could not keep people away. If you send me your sling adapters, I will make you one free of charge for your good word. Bigwakes-I do make everything everyone else makes at much less than everyone else sells them. Most of my other items cost $5. I am thinking about getting a table at a show but not sure when. Lostpass- I will change that wording, thanks a lot for the suggestions. I hope they help.
  17. I have listed paracord slings on almost every other site for $45.00. I have even lowered the price to try and get some sales to get word of mouth out there. I was wondering what a price is that you would pay for one. I have about $15-$20 in supplies in every sling. It just depends on the cost of the uncle mikes adapters at the time of ordering my supplies. They do take a decent amount of time to make. I am basically paying myself 10/hr per sling. So I feel I am pricing them fairly. I will paste my ad and let you give me ideas on what I can do. If an Idea given on here drums up sales I will reward that suggestion with a sling. I am not trying to become a self made billionaire off these, just fund my gun habit and have some fun. Here is my ad The slings are made of 1 strand of 60 ft of 550 paracord. I get the paracord from one of the same companies that supplies the military. I make them in several different lengths, if I don't have the right length in the color you want I will make it for you. The hardware is uncle mikes sling adapters so they are made to last. I will also honor the same type of replacement that other places have. If you have to use the paracord save the sling adapters and I will make you a new one free of charge. I currently have OD,tan, desert camo, black and green camo. I can get other colors but cannot guarantee that the cord will be the same quality as having to use a different supplier. I also have keychains available for $5 with the colors listed above most color combos are pictured below Thanks for the help
  18. I will see about more pics, It is currently apart for some more work (taking the bayonet lug and sight off). I am also making a paracord sling for it. Any suggestions on the color of the sling. I don't think that black would look that great.
  19. Every time I respond to the "for Trade" ads they want to trade there 200 gun for my 900 gun. I also know you can do what you want but some people have to be realistic and keep an open mind about cash offers because most of the time there trade stipulations will never be met.
  20. 111 items for a value $435 that is under $5 an item. Not sure which speaks more, that she only got $435 worth of stuff or you can get 111 non grocery items for $435. I need to take her shopping with me, I swear I leave spending more than that on 11 items.
  21. Charlies pawn on Kingston Pike has several gen 3 Glocks for under 450 and gen 1 or 2 for less. I saw one for 349. Plus a lot of other good deals, shotguns for under 200, and a couple of 32 revolvers for 100 or less. Just wish I had more cash.
  22. Bill's outpost always has them for under 300, Have picked up a couple at under 200 from him. If someone is asking over 300 for a standard 10/22 they are way overpricing it.
  23. It is good to see that not everyone thinks that there used gun is worth more than new. Don't need a python, but it is a good deal.
