Any idea when the match would be over? wild guess? And do I need a cover garment? I have never shot in an idpa type thing.

I am trying to forget

12 hours since my first three gun. It was pretty awesome. I realized when I got home that I used 61 rounds of pistol ammo. 61!!!!!

Well I have spent the last two nights in my basement with my hodge-podge of tactical gear/wannabe g i joe stuff, arranging and rearranging. I took an old tool belt and put a shell holder and mag holders on it and wore it around the house. My wife thinks I am a lunatic, but that means I am doing something right. I don't know if tacticool or tactifool is more appropriate.

Can you really shoot your pistol that much better than your rifle? cause i am not good with my pistol. that is the part of the course I am not really looking forward to

Man, shell carriers and low-recoil slugs and carts. Where do ya'll find money to buy guns with?

How do you guys carry your shotgun shells in the long stages- like the 20 round stage?

Note to self: The difference in recoil from my 12 gauge pump shooting slugs and my ar is tremendous. I am glad I made it to the range today.

What kind of 12 gauge rounds are best for the birdshot load? like skeet loads? Something a little heavier?

since I am new to this, can I just use buckshot and still get off with one hit?
