These are great shooting pistols with fantastic triggers. The "Shield Plus" line is a huge improvement over the previous "Shield" models in trigger and round capacity. What makes the Shield Plus line stand out to me over other small 9mm guns is the larger size of the grip. These feel much more stable and secure in the hand to me than any other small 9mm I have shot. It is like you get the stability and control of a Mid-full sized 9mm with the conceivability of a micro 9mm. This is the Performance Center model with the ported slide and the thumb safety. The highly-rated HK VP precision strike trigger is also found on the VPSK. The VP trigger surpasses those found on competitors. It has a short, light take-up with a solid, single action type break followed by a short positive reset. The net result is trigger quality unmatched in production striker fired pistols. 5/8x24 threads, .30 cal bore. Acts as a muzzle break, or you can thread the optional blast can on and it directs the blast forward. I used it on a 300 blackout, blast can certainly makes a difference when shooting indoors. Blast can threads are 13/16-16, which match up to various oil filter sizes, if one were interested in such a thing. I'm not advocating for anything nefarious, I legitimately used to thread on an oil filter so I could clean my guns in the house, but now I have a nice work bench in the garage, so no need for that.
