Found these today. Vietnam Trophies. No paperwork (dang, the paperwork doubles the value). Most paperwork was discarded or lost by the returning GIs. Like most trophy weapons brought home from Vietnam that I have examined, these have seen some use...

A type 54 Chinese Tokarev, all matching except mag, circa 1966 and a type 56 Chinese SKS, all matching, circa 1967. Both came from the same estate.

This would really make me drool if they're both minus import marks....

Well?;)

go find your handy wipes :D

No legit VN trophy has import marks. These are legit. Also notice, no safety on the Tok, another clue as to origin.

Coldblack -- now that's one of beauty. May or may not have been to vietnam. The Germans captured thousands of these and in turn we captured thousands from them. Also a lot of trading went on. I remember hearing a story about a USGI trading his 1911 to a Soviet for his Tok at the end of the war. The USGI asked "Where's the safety?" to which the Russian replied, "We don't need safeties. We know what happens when we pull the trigger"...

Stegall -- these were at the loading bench. There were apparently several more, but I had missed them.

The reason we believe its a vietnam bring back is that there is a lot of pitting on it (can't see it in the picture, its been cold blued :D over and my cell just isn't that defined) so the general thought is that it was in a pretty wet environment. I.E. vietnam.

You should check over on the lugerforum.com, I remember reading some time ago a technique for removing coldblue using household vinegar... A wide variety of E.Block guns were seen over there. You'res is definitely one of those "if it could talk" piece
