Anyone use this to lubricate their firearms?

Yeah... I'd be interested to find out what the liquefaction and combustion temperatures are for the wax which they use as the solution for their formula. Some waxes can handle a few hundred degrees, but to be used in an aerosol, however, I assume those points to be low. Not a problem provided that the application is sparing (no different than oil).

Well yes...grease is sometimes made from paraffinic oil but a lot of oil is dewaxed in the process of refining.

I'm not saying that the wax is bad, just that I'd like to know more about the wax in this product before deciding it would be good for gun use.

I use a high temp transmission oil developed for high temp use in CVT transmissions. Excellent metal impregnation and penetration. After 200 round match visible, not collecting much debris. As good as several name brand gun lubes.

Springfield TRP

Springfield XD40 Tac

AR15

Tube rifle-switch barrel
