Inheriting several long guns, what do I need to do legally to possess and possibly transfer them?

Heres some of the rifles since some requested some photos. I bet even the best of the best gun nuts can't identify the middle one between the Ruger and the Winchester. Excuse the low quality photos the originals had to be super compressed to meet the 600kb limit.

Is it a weatherby.

Solid attempt, but incorrect. Top is a Win 338 stainless boss, the old style as you see with the dial style boss. Bottom is a Ruger M77 7mm. I don't think anyone can identify the middle by sight, because it took me a long while to identify it as well.
