What's the deal with Firearm classifieds??  I've tried to buy 3 firearms.  1, will not answer the number given.  The other 2,  post their item  and within hrs I'll reply with interest.   Then go unanswered for days..     Is it because I'm "NEW"??   Do these people really want to sell or not.

You've been here two weeks and have posted a couple of "new guy" messages and have expressed interest in a couple of classified ads, and you've posted nothing else.  I'm not accusing you of anything, but this is the exact pattern we've seen for years from scammers.  People are going to be cautious of a new guy who acts this way...and they should.

My suggestion:  Spend more time on the forums, participate in some of the discussions, and build a presence in the community.  Don't complain about whether people really want to sell.   Trust will come over time if you don't act like a scammer or an ATF agent.

My advice, and worth every cent you paid for it.
