410 reloaders

It sounds like you picked the right day to go look for shotgun hulls. Hopefully you got some good ones (Win AA and Rem STS.)

Got the hulls sorted by color, brass and aluminum bases. Lot of brands I've never heard of, mostly all 7 1/2 and 8 size shot, field loads. Light rain started as I finished.

From another state's gun owners forum I found a new to me supply website that I posted in Where do you buy your reloading supplies?

Met The Legend today after Petz scan for a face to face deal. Now I'm ready to load a lot of 303 Britt brass to 410 brass.

After the West clinic visit yesterday we stopped at Sportsman's Warehouse. I planned to get another carton of Cheddite 209 primers @ $47.99. Nope, now $79.99. I'll look online for a better deal.

The 200 410 primed hulls were here when I got home.

The price of primers (and other reloading supplies) is painful. I keep waiting for the decline back to "normal" but it is feeling more and more that these prices ARE the new norm. Glad you got some primed hulls. That'll get you started.

Miwall and CDVS.US seem to have the best prices. CCI and Magtech small pistol and rifle primers $36 per carton. Browning 410 #8, 2 1/2" $13 per box, $129 per case.

Payday, time to place an order at Sportsman's Warehouse before paying bills.

Payday, I head to Sportsman's Warehouse online to order the Charles Daly 101 410 in walnut. I searched the website a few times not finding the shotgun. Filled out a form asking about it. Got a link with the shotgun on it, out of stock at the warehouse. Filled out a form to let me know when it was in stock. The waiting games has a new curve.
Looking online at SW I find the Stevens 301 camo for $230 and the Stevens 301 Turkey camo for $218 as their cheapest. I want a walnut finish not camo. Wait some more.

Looking at Sportsman's Warehouse online they have 25# lead shot # 8 1/2 and #5 for $52, no place for an order for in store pick up. All others show $60 and have at store. Asking their help desk about it, waiting for reply.

Looking at the store on last visit all I saw was #7 1/2 @ $60.

This thread has been pretty much copy and paste on a few websites. A member on a fishing site asked for my address, he sold his shotgun and has some reloading supplies in his way. I asked for a price, no, just want it out of my way. Tracking shows it will be delivered today.

Talking with a worker at M&M Auctions yesterday, he saw a 410 at a New Albany, MS pawn shop for $125. She might let you have it for $100 if that's all the cash you carry. May get my grandson to make the road trip with me.
