Sig P-365X Macro AXG Grip Module

Has anyone used this metal grip module from Sig?  I switched to a xMacro grip on my P-365xl Spectre a while back and like it, but the metal grip does interesting me.  I’ve looked at several metal grips online, and none of them are cheap, but I wonder what people thought about this one.  Somewhere online I read about someone buying one for less than what Sig sells it for. Do they fit in the xMacro holsters?

Looks like a number of the online retailers had them in the $230 to $245 range but are currently oos. Many of them also don’t add on use tax, which Sig will. Maybe set up an alert for back in stock at a couple if you’re good with waiting?

They were just in stock with most of these folks through the big distributors, after being out of stock for a while.  I guess everyone who wanted one jumped on them.

What is the appeal? Plastic seems to work fine, keeps the weight down and probably help absorb some recoil.
