If you or someone you know jumped on the bandwagon, according to terms of service, you cannot delete your info...

The TOS infers your info can only be shared with your express consent.

If you could delete your info, why is the company valued at $300m? If you could delete your info why would a pharmaceutical bid for it? Why would that pharmaceutical promise to use the info in an ethical manner?

Big enough issue to catch congressional attention

First time I heard about this dna business, I couldn’t believe people would voluntarily submit this much personal information to a random company. Turns out I was wrong.

As a genealogy buff, I found this idea very intriguing but could not bring myself to do it because I did not want my DNA in a database such as this. Really glad I made that decision.
