Hello! Been in Middle TN for 15 years now, and was raised in the mountains of East TN.

Flew CH-53s in the USMC for 9 years. Got out during the Clinton Administration and came home to TN. Never regret moving to the best place on earth to raise your children.

.40 PPS, 380 PPK, P98, Desert Eagle .44 Mag. S & W 38 Special, etc.

Thank the Lord above we have a responsible state legislature, finally, and have a safe state in which to carry.

By the way, GO VOLS!:D

Halfpint, I am going to tell you what my recruiter told me, and it was true and good advice. "You are going into a strange, new environment. You may not like it at times, but in the end you will be better for it."

Never lose sight of the end goal. There is no organization on earth like the Marine Corps. No other group is so singularly focused on the goal that the good of the many outstrips the good of the one. Yet, the good of the many is often to support the one.

God bless you in your quest. Never quit, never doubt the instruction you are given, just do it with all your heart.

Earn the right to be in the brotherhood. It can never be taken from you.

Hi,

Retired USN air traffic controller. Native son of Clarksville, moved back in 2005 after retiring in San Diego (retired in 2000) and living there for a few years.
