Russian SKS I couldn't pass up...

One of the distinct differences is the milled vs. stamped trigger assembly. Many of the Chinese SKS have stamped trigger groups which don't look near as good as the milled ones on the Russian models. As I understand it, the Yugo models don't have a chrome bore, so that theoretically could be a disadvantage, but probably never would be. They are all great rifles and people have very little trouble with any of them.

I don't think the Russian is a "better" version necessarily, but more collectible perhaps showing a bit more character in general.

The Yugo's have no chrome in the barrel BUT it's a much heavier barrel. It's "supposed" to be better for a higher round count but I'm not 100% certain on that...
