Are you talking about the gun racks that hang on the wall? If it's the simple ones that hold three guns I have one in the attic my brother and I used to put our bb guns in that depending on how close you are to Nashville, you can have.

Guys, Thanks for suggests, plans and even offers to provide a rack. Its really a great community here. I think I am leaning towards building the rack. We're going to be working on pinewood derby cars for new few weeks, so this project would tie in well.

Glad you chose that option. It will be a fun project and mean much more to them when they have a hand in building it.

I would definitely go this route. My Dad and I built my first one and it still hangs on the wall in my room at his house. I don't know who was prouder him or me.

  • 2 weeks later...

In the 8th grade I made one in Shop Class out of mule shoes. Each side was 4 welded (brazed) together, 3 end to end and the 4th flat to mount on a 1x slab of Barn Cypress.

Think these days a shop teacher would have those plans laying about.

R.I.P. Mr. Rich
